I use them in as named Item filters for my storage system seen as Iron farms are easy to make and each ingot can be broken down into the nugget.

Hey, this may be irrelevant in a matter of days or even hours but Patch 5 apparently went live and has a change log saying what all the new bug fixes are. I'm in the UK and still don't have the update, I've tried manually updating to trigger the download but nope, nothing. Still on 1.0.4.
Is it still waiting to be approved by Nintendo or something?
EDIT: Patch 5 in now LIVE. Enjoy those sweet bug fixes

Yeah, I mean overworld crops nano farms are easy and automated, why not nether wart?

If they're still a baby you can't trade with them until they grow up. If they're an adult then you should be able to unless there is a bug yet to be discovered that doesn't allow for trading with cartographers.

It would be simpler to add a Black or Charred Bone item and have it be a Wither Skeleton drop instead of regular bones. It would work the same way a regular bone does, craft black bone meal which could be then crafted into black bone blocks. In bone meal form it would work on nether wart, but not overworld crops like carrots etc. It could also be used as an alternate black dye to ink sacs.
Would make farming wither skeleton even more worth doing and makes sense seen as they're a Nether mobs and nether wart is obviously from the Nether.

Spawners are hit and miss and usually fall down to pot luck in finding them. I found one in my world relatively quick but again that down to luck. If you have some sort of mine shaft, keep mining till you find a cave of sorts and explore the cave lighting up as you go. Keep an ear out for large quantities of mobs and head/dig towards it, quite often it is a spawner trapping a load of Skeles/Zombies/Spiders. Beyond your creative mode Xraying that is really the only tips for spawner finding one can give.
Hope you find one buddy.

Nice, which piston is the non sticky?
EDIT: Never mind, only 2 pistons and by process of elimination I found which its meant to be.
EDIT 2: I got it working. Works how I wanted it to perfectly.

Hey there people,
In the images attached to this thread you will a standard ImpulseSV villager breeder, however modified to include "clog protection" in the form of a zombie pigman stood in the middle. I stumbled across this design on the YouTube and decided to test to see if this worked, the results were... yes and no. The zombie pigman does indeed scare the villagers so they run around scared and is all they do.
My solution was to put a glass block above it with retractable piston which works when the piston is down blocking viewing access from the villagers, however when retraced to reveal the pigman, I would get the translocation bug and the pigman would be pulled up out and into the farmland area. To fix that I put more glass blocks surrounding the glass block above the pigman and that fixed the issue and now have functional villager breeder, of sorts... (it's manual only).
I am in search of a way to time the piston so it is in the down position for say 5 minutes, after 5 minutes it would raise and reveal the pigman for say 10 - 20 seconds and then go back down again for 5 minutes.
The reason for this is to give the villagers time to harvest crops and do the do, the 20 second "viewing window" of the pigman is to scare them (more specifically the little new born villagers) into falling into the pit as originally intended for this design of this farm.
A simple redstone circuit is out there I'm sure but I can't find one and would love some help. thanks.
