posted a message on [Win/Mac/Linux] Minecraft Console Client
For your information and if nobody has mentioned it yet, this kind of works on Linux and therefore Macintosh operating systems as well because it is written using the .NET framework. The mono runtime environment that works on linux based operating systems and Macintosh allows me to start this and attempt connecting to things. However, I get "Connection failed: Network error" when attempting to log in. Offline mode only complains of a bad session ID, except locally. I don't know if this is a problem on my side or a quirk of mono or your program that's preventing it from working on an operating system that it wasn't written to work with. Do you care about poor lil' ol' linux-usin' me? Would you support linux through mono if you found out there were only a few changes to make to do so?

    Quote from MohawkyMagoo

"maintained" ? You make him sound like a janitor. "Created and maintained" might be better. When you think of Awger, think Gibbs in NCIS and that boat in his basement. Lovingly and skillfully crafted.

Hmm, I don't know why I didn't include that he created it - for the other couple mods that were created by their maintainer, I did that. Oh well.

"The Elegant Punt and Whitehall mods were created and are maintained by Awger (http://www.minecraft...punt-whitehall/)!"

Would it be possible to have an extension to this which causes it to throw a cancellable Bukkit playerInteractEvent or whatever it's called?

I'd like to include this in my public server's modpack if that's alright with you. I'll credit you as below unless you want me to say something different.

I'm going to assume you prefer I ask prior to publishing my public server's modpack with the Punt and Whitehall in it. Are you comfortable with this as accreditation?

Would you be so kind as to move the configs into a Pam folder under the config directory? ;)

posted a message on [1.5]Fishtaco's mods (FPS++, Lava Decay, Fog Key and more)
I'm interested in adding this mod to my server's custom modpack. I imagine you're comfortable being credited as such:

"Lava Decay is maintained by fishtaco567 (http://www.minecraft...g-key-and-more/)!"

If you would like me to include more, or would rather I simply not include the mod in the modpack, rest assured it's not going in there until I've confirmed you're comfortable with it and with the way you're being credited.

EDIT: Never mind! ChickenBones Core does this :P

Heh heh, wow. This is my first time ever trying this mod out, and it's amazing! I'm switching my Vanilla server to a forge modpack, and this is totally going in. I commend you for the sheer amount of work it takes to maintain something like this and the planning involved in its implementation. The structure that you use to implement the new foods and crops seems to an outside viewer incredibly solid, and this is just plain a well-put-together mod, probably the BEST "new flora" mod out there, and definitely my favorite.

I only have a couple issues. First, I would love to see a way to get rid of the plants after you plant them. They're tough as nails! Hitting them, naturally, expects that you want to harvest. Trampling, it seems, is useless against these monster plants. So you have to remove the block underneath them. I'm not asking for much - just a nice little tool, perhaps called a "Grafter" or a "Rooter" to uproot plants. If you want to refactor a big farm it can take ages, and it's even worse if you only want to change a small portion in the middle.

My other issue is that EVERYTHING generates en masse EVERYWHERE. I'm not asking you to tone it down, though - all I want is a config, or for you to tell me how imperceptive I am if there is already one.

That said, and may I repeat, I'm adding this to my (currently small :() server's modpack, and I intend to add this to the credit page:

"HarvestCraft is produced (Get it? Produce?) by Pam (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/402069-147forgesmppams-mods-mar-6th-150-new-foods-to-harvestcraft-base/), with textures by Rhodox, author of the Painterly Pack (http://painterlypack.net/)!"

If you would like me to add anything else or change this in any way, please tell me! I'm more than happy to accommodate nearly any request.

Seems the Punt does not ride properly in multiplayer. Punts which undergo server downtime (stop-n-start) drive normally, but freshly placed ones turn erratically and stop randomly. Whitehalls are unaffected by this bug.

OS Linux, kernel v3. Oracle Java v1.7.0_11, Forge version 6.6.0.497. Tested alone, except for the ChickenCore and BukkitForge coremods.

I'd love to be able to get back the same sail color when breaking a colored punt or whitehall, as well ;)

Last issue, config would be much appreciated, the whitehall is super slow, and as it is so much more expensive and the only working one, I'd like to see a faster one!

Overall, wonderful work so far! These are very good and we've needed better aquatic interaction for a long time (fish, boats, glass, and even water mobs or plants).

No, not for cracked players. I'm looking for a mod that lets you dynamically swap out your skin either ingame or from a title menu. The stipulation - I need it to work in multiplayer. Not a char.png changer. It's perfectly fine if I need to relog for it to show. I'd also somewhat like tie-ins with ingame events like changing to night-time (Can you say auto-werewolf?) but this is not neccessary.

If it goes straight there would have to be some kind of cutoff point where it dies, or it would give the same 'stuck at the end of the world' bug that ghast and blaze fireballs do. I'm sure someone's going to want to spam it, so they could easily break their world that way.

posted a message on [Launcher] Magic Launcher 1.3.4 (mods, options, profiles, news)
This is my favorite tool for use in conjunction with Minecraft! I have one issue though. I'd love to know how the launcher decides what web browser to open when clicking links on the Twitter/Reddit/etc. tabs, because although Firefox is my default browser, the Chromium browser, which I quite literally installed 15 minutes ago, seems to take precedence.

I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 and launching the Magic Launcher via ojava, which I mapped to redirect to OpenJDK Java 7 (since on my system, Oracle Java for Linux doesn't seem to work woth the Magic Launcher). My default Java is Pracle Java 7 update 9 (1.7.0_09). Though I don't think much of that makes a difference leave the OS.
