How many mods are you using? The crash log mentions "Caused by: cpw.mods.fml.common.LoaderException: java.lang.RuntimeException: Invalid id 9356 - maximum id range exceeded."
So while searching through NEI, I found this "thaumaturgist" armor set that had everything but a helmet (for the goggles?)
Anyone know what the research is called and what I need unlocked for it?
I really think for the Weather and Tornadoes mod, you start considering storm chaser esque equipment, like Dopplar radar and probes that get sucked into the tornado to record data. It would be a big step from just a siren and redstone signal block to this whole storm chasers in minecraft. Now, you don't have to do that and I understand that completely, but atleast probes and a radar.
The radar would work like this:
The glass is just normal glass, and the furnace is a radar block. When built like that in the world, it'll transform into a large map of the chunks (1 block == 2 chunks x 2 chunks) the radar you built being in the center somewhere. The differance to a normal map is that it shows "cloud formation" based on the scale, and would show the spot where a funnel formed and where a tornado touched down, and the path.
Probes would just be a block that when sucked up, explodes into a bunch of little particles (or opens?)
Shouldnt I still see the meter and 0/0 next to it?
At any rate, anyone know the cause? It isn't a matter of them needing to be regenerated since a simple restart or 2 of the game resolves it. Also when I log off multimc console shows "7/7 aura nodes unloaded" (or something to that effect).
The meter and flux/aura level only appears if it's detecting a node.
Late at night didnt bother with search if its been stated before then delete this post.
I had my thaumachrom delete its storage and lost all research i had, using the mindcrack, the login servers were down so i was in ssp playing around with research, logins came back up so i went from offline mode to online mode, still in ssp, and my research got wiped.
peoples in ftb irc said to make a post on it so here you go.
This has been explaned several times. Research saves to the player. Offline and online are two separate players. What you do OFFLINE will not save over to ONLINE, and vice versa.
im not shure if this is related to shaadaris post but. i updated to 3.0.1 and built myself a infernal furnace. thing is it wont smelt my ores...didnt check for the nodes, i dont have the galsses yet. but i lost alot of ore before posting here.
anyone else got this
Did you use an adept wand on it? If not, you're just throwing ores into lava.
heh I noticed this a while ago... lol I also noticed they spawn more often if villages get converted to zombies. My last world had a village near by spawn point and they showed up quite frequently along with the normal ones lol
also for those wondering what unstable nodes look like
There are two networks in my immediate surroundings.
On one side I have 2 nodes that spawned with the world, connected to two nodes that I created with silverwood trees. These are all connected, none of them seem to be regenerating.
On the other side (Directly under my house) a single node spawned that wasn't connected to any others. I planted a few silverwood saplings above it, which created a new node that connected to it. This isn't replenishing either.
Because the networks are so isolated and small, it's been very easy to test so far.
I noticed that all of my nodes are white, both the ones that spawned on world creation and the ones I've created. None of them look like the ones that typically spawn with the barrow mounds, so perhaps only the black nodes actually "Create" aura?
I can almost confirm that these...Barrow mounds you call them? Are not "good" nodes. These are the Dark Nodes. Or chaos nodes, if something ELSE is a Dark Node.
The white nodes you normally see around the game assuming you spawn near a good cluster of them are Normal nodes. And silverwood nodes are Pure nodes. None "Generate" vis to my knowledge, but take vis from nearby nodes or infused stone.
So does that mean, every mod will need to become forge mod? (Forge still f***s up any other normal mod)
If they all will need to become forge, than it's ok. i don't hate anyone, except the stupid modders who won't make mod compatible with forge (better than wolfes). I do realise more and more mods use forge. And i hope all mods will be forced to use forge, so i will be able to play with my favourite mods again.
Flowerchild is NOT stupid. The reason Better than Wolves is not compatible with forge is because of the tassles of forge (Having to wait for it to update) and other modders. FlowerChild decided that forge was just too much for his mod, and other tech mods ruined it, so he made it incompatible.
And no, BTW will not become forge no matter how many mods do.
Perhapes you could make it to where, if you right click a villager, it dies and drops a stack of emeralds because killing is too hard. My finger hurts when I kill things. Better yet, just make me rightclick the sky with dirt in my hands to kill everything.

Shortened answer: You don't stop it unless you feel like doing "something" several times

Sadly, that's true for a lot of us, isn't it?

You should post a world download when you're finished. Talent like this needs to get out into the world.
