Tundra, extreme snow mountains, because the snow is annoying, it never ends, and there are hardly any trees or vegetation. And you can't have vegetation 'cause it freezes the water every time! Taigas I can sort of deal with, because it is easy to get wolves there, plenty of trees and there are many animals (hence the wolves). 1/5 for tundras and snow mountains, 3/5 for taigas.

I also have to say swamp. It does not look like a swamp at all! I live in the Southeastern US, and I know what a swamp looks like, and the Minecraft version is NOT it. 1/5 for just plain ugliness.

Forest, desert, mountains, and jungles I can deal with. Except for the jungle planks. I hate them. But for all of those, 4/5. Mostly because frequent wood supply (except for mountains, but the terrain shape for them is awesome, and deserts). So those are my favorite biomes.

Hi, I really love your mod, I really want to try it. But I use all the tutorials PERFECTLY correctly, and my Minecraft screen becomes frozen after I log in, saying it's Updating Minecraft: Done Loading. But it never loads. Solution, anybody?

You know atleast 4j takes there free time and hours coding everything which takes a long time. Well you try coding if you think you can do it.

Think about the builders on the 360 version. Do you really think they're glad about the bug fix? Because last time I checked, there was no creative mode in the 360 version, and that bug was simply the way to get a creative-like feeling. I certainly wouldn't enjoy trying to find all those black sheep and dyes when trying to make a 10x10 Darth Vader pixel art in the 360 version. (And don't comeback me saying why don't I go on the PC version, because, SOME PEOPLE have Xboxes, but not a PC). So stop being glad about the dispenser fix, most people are mad, because THAT SPECIFIC GLITCH was their way of having free imagination and free building, because remember? This was ALL before 1.8, and before creative... so go say that to somebody else.

What bugs me (heh, get it?) about the new update is the fix for the dispenser glitch- now you have to get everything LEGITIMATELY. The bug was really the only way we could get more items for big projects, stuff that you might need more for something BIG and didn't feel like going out and collecting all of that. The bug was sort of the equivalent of an inventory editor to the PC version, except that you just had to find one piece of the resource that you had to duplicate. Unless Mojang and 4J figure out someway to put in cheats to the game, now you have to find everything legit. Ugh....

Same problem with 1. Whenever I download it, it loads it as a compressed zip file, rendering it useless to test the snapshot. I need to know how to unzip, and turn it into a jar file so I can use it!

Okay, so I wanted to give a try to the new snapshot, 12w22a. I installed it ALL correctly, as I was supposed to (putting minecraft_server.zip in the server folders, replacing the jar with the snapshot zip file). But when I log into Minecraft, the screen freezes at the Updating Minecraft screen! I don't know what is wrong with my Minecraft, but I know something IS wrong, but I can't tell what! If anybody has experienced this before and fixed it, could you please tell me how to, because I want to try out the new snapshot!

(UPDATE: I just found out that the file is turning out as a ZIP folder, not a jar folder, so I can't use either of the files! Please reply if you know a solution below!)

(UPDATE #2: I actually found out that the solution to the ZIP folder problem still counts it as a ZIP file, not an executable jar file . But I still install it correctly, and now, the Done Uploading screen is frozen again!

You see? THAT'S why I had to uninstall NVidia. I didn't take this lightly. But I never thought this would be the outcome.

(UPDATE: Okay, I just need someone to tell me what video card I need to install from NVidia, here are the computer specs that people find necessary:
Model: Dell Latitude D620
OS: Windows 7 64-bit

For the last few weeks, my Minecraft has been acting up. When I get on Minecraft and play for a duration more/less than 5 minutes, the screen would go black for 2-3 seconds, interrupt my gameplay, and then I can't interact with the MC screen anymore. It says that it's Error 14. So, just a couple of hours ago, I uninstalled NVidia and, hoping for the best, I went onto the Minecraft Launcher, and then started it. But it didn't show the Mojang screen. Instead, it shows this:

Well, ever since I got a previously owned Windows computer and started out trying Minecraft, it just went downhill from there. Every 5 minutes, my computer would go black for 2-3 seconds and then my Minecraft screen would disappear. And then after that, my Minecraft says in an error:

NVIDIA (bla bla bla x50) Error 14

This is not the only problem, but if somebody could help me with this one right now, it would really help!
Problem 2: I can't even interact with the Minecraft home screen.
I open up Minecraft Launcher, put in my name and pass, and them the screen goes black for 2 milliseconds, it updates a little (these two things are usual and is not the problem) but where the real problem comes on is that the Mojang screen comes on longer than it usually does, and then when I finally get to the home screen, it's frozen so I can't interact with it. So then I have to push the exit button multiple times, and then this comes up:

Java(TM) SE Binary has stopped responding

And then I get 2 options, to close it down, or wait for it to respond, but I close it down knowing that it can't respond because it STOPPED responding. So again I have to hit the exit button multiple times, and then Minecraft finally closes. This happens EVERY time. I'm thinking the reason is that I have Java 32 bit even though my computer is 64 bit, but I don't know how to switch from 32 to 64! Is that why this problem comes up, or is it for another reason? Please respond, I really need help!

I have been having the EXACT same problem, just with different outcomes. Instead of the screen just going black, at the beginning at the log-in screen, it acts as if it is every other Minecraft log-in screen. But when I log in, the Mojang sign stays for a couple of longer seconds then it should be, and then I'm at the Minecraft home screen, but it is completely frozen. When I start to exit out of it, it just says:

Java™ SE Binary is not responding

That's it. So I exit out, try it again, and- BOOM. It happens AGAIN. If anybody could give me some links that could help with the problem, it would REALLY help me.

(Update: Obviously nobody wants to help because they think I can figure it out myself, but in reality, I CAN'T. So please, if your'e a Minecraft error/problem expert, PLEASE respond to this. I love Minecraft, and I can't give it up! P.S. It used to happen some of the time now, but now I can never play Minecraft because the problem can never go down and let me play)

Same here. Always happens. I'm gonna try to update back to 1.2.4, and I'll notify you if you can, to do Single Player Commands.

What about these:

dungeon (what kind of spawner you want) - Lets you spawn a dungeon and typing what kind of spawner you want to be in there.

abandonedmineshaft - Spawns an Abandoned Mine Shaft

stronghold - Lets you spawn a stronghold.

ravine (the next few command words are optional) abandonedmineshaft - Lets you spawn a ravine, and lets you put an abandoned mineshaft within it or not.

He's probably not gonna read it.......

Hi, I think it might be because I'm in 1.2.5 but whenever I try to load my world it comes on four 2 milliseconds, and then it goes straight to
"Saving Chunks" and then a black screen. Could you possibly make a version for 1.2.5?
