posted a message on Playsound doesn't work in 1.9.2?

So I just made a custom sound pack (At the time you're reading this, the only sound added is a General Signal's Type 2 Railroad Electronic Bell) but every time I enter the command, I type "/playsound @a records.wait" and it says "Source unknown" so I try "/playsound records.wait @a" and it gives me the same message, the same thing happens when I try entering the command in a commander block, what am I doing wrong?

posted a message on Elytra Wings don't work!

Hi! I've been asking myself this for a while, I can't work the Elytra wings, I've been practicing them for a map made specifically for Elytra parkour, but they never work when I take off, so I just land to the ground instead of flying, i've tried to find out so many times, people say you hold down space bar, i've tried that, still doesn't work, it seems like they worked during the snapshots, but they never worked during 1.9 (And on the Pre-release 1, 2, and 3.) can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong?

posted a message on Is PvP ruining minecraft?

Most of the minecraft community (Or more) are familiar with the game mode "PvP" other wise known as "Player vs player"

I am doing a thread of why it may be ruining the minecraft community, on the server mineplex (Ip: us.mineplex.com)

there's multiple mini-games on multiple servers, I will give some examples like "Survival games" which is featured on "The nexus, hypixel, mineplex" and many others.

Normally when you kill a player (If you're lucky enough to kill a teen or tween that's a scrub, or whatever) they'll typically type in the chat saying "Hacker" or "Noob" and there's a lot of other excuses to go on, another common one is "Lag" or "Frame drop" Now it may be true but what they're saying but half the time, it's a flat out lie.

I'm sure you've had to run into a kid who screams "NOOB!!!!" or "HAKOR NAB!!!" etc, etc.

I don't think the entire PvP deal is bad, but it's very corrupting if you're weak minded.

MvP (Mob vs player) It's not entirely great either, but it's definitely less rage worthy because they have AI instead of IQ, or OI (Organic intelligence) meaning they'd have less tactics of killing.

All PvP really is, is just swinging a sword, clicking a mouse and hoping for the best but many servers have changed it, there's abilities, kits, power ups, over powered weapons and armor, and a lot more that can make it a lot more, just a lot more likely for you to get upset.

and then there's the hackers, ya know, those people that have no skill so they need things like fly, kill aura, or speed and they just make the game unfair for everyone by using this whole list of cheats that people normally wouldn't, and or shouldn't use.

so you got the hackers, and the scrubs. I have nothing against noobs because they're new to the game, they're learning how to play so you can't just say "Lol ur a noob, u suck at dis game" what do you think noob means? if they've played the game for a really long time, like, a couple of months then you can say they suck.

then there's another set of noobs, not the newbies, but the kind that, are really just pests, like, killing un-armed players, lets take this to a real life scenario, lets imagine this one guy called "Pooploser96" are whatever, just walk up to this person called "xxxWeedBro420xx" or whatever and, pull out a sword and kill him for REALLY no reason at all, it's just madness and they only do it for a kill, or gems, or coins, or whatever, depending on the server you're playing.

This is just my opinion, you may post yours in the comments, I will gladly read your opinions and maybe you can give me more information about what you've seen on PvP, the bad or the good or neutral.

posted a message on ALL MINECRAFT 1.9 PLAYSOUNDS FILE NAMES!

    Aww heck yeah!

I've always loved the playsound command but I was disappointed with the fact that you can't do ./playsound music blah.blah.blah

    But this is just amazing.

I'm sure 1.9 will be a great update.

What's wrong with the good, ole 2x2 spiral? It lets you see danger before walking into it and it gives you an easy way back up to the surface when you're done (as well as an easy way back down if you still have unfinished business).

    I know the odds of digging down directly over a deep ravine or lava pit are rather small, but with my luck, the ONE time it happens will be the one time I forget to leave my valuables at home. -_-;;

    ./gamerule keepInventory true

Straight down into unknown is not too smart. Lava might not be too common, but falling 19 blocks down and landing in front of a creeper is also not too pleasant.

It's a lot harder to happen than finding lava pits, unless you happen to fall into a mob whilst falling into a chamber where a lot of caves connect, that's normally where it gets deep.

If you're refering to a ravine, chances are, you won't survive.

I really wish I found more of those. I rarely find them anymore.

Same, those normally yield the diamonds.

Well that's true, I've been playing since beta 1.8, it's very easy to tell when you run into it.

Unless you happen to fall in one of those magma chamber ravines. (Ravines that have lava on the floor)

Well some of ya'll say "Don't dig straight down" and pros normally warn noobs about this rule, but do you know what I have to say about this? All of that talk is just a lie and nothing but opinion.

I've started a new survival world, I spawned in a forest right next to a mountain. (Seed is "112431245" Don't use quotation marks, only for 1.8 and above.)

and did find about 4 pigs across a river, I killed all of them then dug straight down next to a sand bank, I happen to find a ravine. I found a couple blocks of iron ore, but I needed coal, when I dug the coal, I found 8 diamonds, 8 diamonds... so I got 25 coal lumps, there was 6 iron ore blocks, some gold blocks, and the diamonds, and I still have yet to explore the ravine.

Looking at this screenshot of me in spectator mode, it's actually VERY unlikely that you'll fall into lava (Depends on your seed however.)

But of course, this is just my belief, you can share your thoughts on why digging straight down is good or bad.

if you did have bad luck with digging straight down, you can always use TNT dispensers to dig the hole for you so you won't die to lava.

    Hello everyone!

Sorry I haven't posted In such a long time, I've been doing other things. (Totally not playing too much FNAF and Minecraft and art stuff... sssssh....)

Anyway, I am here to present a wonderful survival seed, I came across this seed on total accident, I was making a survival world and left the seed generator empty so I got a random seed, I came across this. (Screenshot Included!) You can see the mountains In the background behind my house, this seed has a large abundance In wood, now back to business.

Version: 1.8.1+ (As long as there's no envoirmental changes, big or small.)

Spawn: ... Why do you need that Information? @_@

Diamonds: ... Link to the X-ray ultimate resourcepack! (Dig at layer 7 If you don't want to Install a resourcepack.)

Fast fact to get you digging!

I got 37-42 Diamonds just by digging on layer 11-7.

Fast fact to get you to the next dimension!

When you build a portal at your spawn point (Or near It.) you should spawn on a soul sand pit with a lava flow behind you. (Screenshot Included!)

Now, here's a screenshot of... a TF2... basically run to the TF2, and you'll just find the nether fortress, There's at least 2 blaze spawners and a nether wart farm.

    ...

Back to the over world, You should dig below you at. X: 69 Z: 258 (Near spawn.) And keep digging, You should run Into a large cave, There's also 2 dungeons.

    Spider: X: 40 Z: 255 (Dig below that coordinate.)

    Skeleton: X: 92 Z: 275 (Dig below that coordinate.)

    ...

If there's something Important to note about this seed, please tell me what I missed and what other treasures you found In this seed! :D
