Is the PNG file in a folder inside .minecraft, like a folder called Items or something, or is it directly in your .minecraft? if it is in your .minecraft then make sure you speled it correctly.
Hello everyone! Im in need of help for my W.I.P mod,
I am currently having trouble with my custom furnace called the "Reactor"
The Problem is whenever i try to open the gui it dosent open when i right-click... so if anyone has any solutions for this problem please reply!
I like both ideas, because i have a private server which i play on with my friends and i would love to see this as a plugin, on the other hand a server would be awesome too because you get then you could play with a bunch of people like hunger games! but thats just my opinion
I was actually needing a texture pack for a custom map i was thinking about making. the theme is like a War themed texture pack, the armor would be like camouflage and/or body armor and the bow would be a gun, the arrows would be like ammo packets. but its just an idea!
I agree with warmachine2598, python is probably the easiest one to learn but its not very useful, java is a good one to start with but it is kind of hard. Hope this helped!
Yes, modloader is required for almost any other mod to work, the mod that splits the texture pack button into a mods button and a texture pack button is called Minecraft forge you can get it here:

How to install:
Windows 7:
1: Click on your start menu
2: type in "%appdata%" then hit enter.
3: click on the folder "roaming'
4: click on the folder ".minecraft
5: click on the folder "bin"
6: open "minecraft.jar" with winRAR, winZIP, 7zip etc.
7: drag in the mod loader files and replace when asked
8: IMPORTENT DELETE THE FOLDER META-INF!!!
9: drag in the files from the Better Armor and Tools folder
10: run minecraft then your done!

No placing blocks unless you are stuck
If you are playing SMP I have a pig spawner near spawn for food, stock up on food before you leave spawn.
Play on peaceful
no cheating/ hacking items.
this map has really no story whatsoever so just try to complete the map
