Jun 9, 2013Please look at page 55 if you're trying to help, as they've pretty much solved it. The redstone block design allows you to keep using, over and over, a single redstone block to power the entire thing. You could even use dirt and a lever if you wanted. It's literally the best we're going to get.Posted in: Redstone Discussion and Mechanisms
I'm using it on my survival server, works 100% with no loss of materials
Jun 2, 2013Okay, say we don't want to move a house, we want to move a small rectangular place. Can ze engine do it?Posted in: Redstone Discussion and Mechanisms
Oct 26, 2012Hey there, I was just pondering an idea I don't really know how to execute myself. The worst part about farms is the time it takes to plant an area over again, so i'm wondering if anyone has a wheat farm design, or an idea for one, that is the FASTEST to replant while still giving more then a stack of wheat in one lever pull/button push/ etc.Posted in: Redstone Discussion and Mechanisms
I think the fastest way would be to have a very long straight line of dirt, and you just plant down the line. It might not be though.
EDIT: It appears I wasn't clear. You manually replant.

well pandaa, i dont really think thats very fair. i mean, if this was an COD clan, i would say ok, but MC isnt m rated. i dont think you should segregate us out just yet, because in all fairness, we will never have 80,000 subs on youtube like guude, so we should just try to have some fun with it. i think you shhould let some younger kids on the server, although nobody under 12 is fair.
Yes, MC isn't m-rated. But some people (read: our server) do not enjoy playing with other people who are extremely young and more often then not bring unnecessary drama to the server. And to use your example, no one on the Mindcrack server is anywhere near 13.

Did Mojang take the wireless redstone bar-hitbox glitch out? If not, you could send info across the world...dun dun dun.Posted in: Redstone Discussion and Mechanisms
Aug 18, 2012My bad, I totally forgot I had it different. It's TheRuskiGV.Posted in: PC Servers
And wow, lots of under-18 people applying, not even close to 18 unlike I was. They were all no doubt lured here by the Mindcrack reference. We definitely need more people in the higher age groups to apply haha.

Current Location (just Country needed): USA
Do you have skype (y/n): Yes
Are you willing to hold skype calls for collaborations on the sever if needed (y/n): Of course
On average how many hours a week will you play this server: Whenever I get a chance, usually a few hours to 4-5 a day. As I'm currently in school (high school student taking college level courses) during the weekdays I might not be as active, but I love to play Minecraft so I'll be on every chance I get.
Do you have or plan to have a YouTube channel (y/n): I currently do have one set up, under TheRuskiGV. I've watched Hermitcraft and sometimes Mindcrack for awhile, so i'm interested in starting my own videos. I've downloaded Bandicam as it's free and gives you 10 mins at 30fps, but overall as of now I've only touched my toe to the water per say.

Why do you want to join Aurora: I could fill pages with this, but I'll stick with a short summary. I've floated around for awhile on different servers, and I've been trying to find a place with the atmosphere and sense of community that I enjoy. For starters, I really enjoy playing Minecraft. Like, it's almost an obsession. It always amazes me how you can bend and shape the world around you to create amazing things. I always try to make stuff that's unique and stands out among the crowd. A good example of this would be my volcano I made a long time ago which was quite large, and inside it it had a base floating around a lava-filled crater. To expand on that, I only really enjoy playing on Vanilla. So many servers have [VANILLA] but then you log on and you see Economy and Locked stuff and what not, for me mods that change the gameplay ruin the game. I play Minecraft the way it was meant to be played, and have tons of fun as a result.
I also want to join this server because of the relatively high average age limit. I personally do not enjoy playing with people younger then me. In my experiences, they bring all kinds of problems and attitudes to the game that I don't want to deal with when I'm trying to relax and have fun. Players of 18 or more years are almost always there to have a great time with other people playing a game we all love, which is an atmosphere that I highly enjoy and even thrive in. What's the point of playing on a Multiplayer server if you don't make friends?
I'm not really very experienced in video-making or Youtubing in general (I'm a master at watching videos, though), but I'm a quick study and have always picked things up fast, so it shouldn't be that much of a problem.
Fun fact about yourself: I'm ethnically 100% Russian but I was born and raised in the US. As a result, my Russian language skills are severely deficient but I can hold my own in a basic conversation
Aug 17, 2012Hey, just wanted to say that I'm sadly closing my application. You guys have a great server, with really awesome stuff in it, and on my brief look around I saw some amazing things. But it's just not for me, one of the main reason being the few mods you guys have like Economy and Lock doors. I just personally don't like playing that way, I like to play the Vanilla game. And plus, why build something and then lock the door so no one can get in and see what you built? Anywho, thanks for the chancePosted in: PC Servers

Additional info: I could fill pages with this. In Short: I'm a very laid back player who loves Minecraft, perhaps a bit too much. I like to think outside the box and create things that are bigger and better, and generally create awesome things that you hopefully haven't seen before. One of my current examples is a rather large volcano with an internal base floating above the lava. I also love playing with no-********, 18+ people. In my experiences, younger players have attitudes and problems that I just don't want to deal with while I'm trying to enjoy myself. Older players are just there to have fun and create memories, which mirrors my philosophy. An example of younger players from my past would be when 2 out of 3 end portals were taken by those under the age of 18. They staunchly refused to let anyone use "their" portals. Basically, I highly enjoy and thrive in places where the average age is over 18 and we all just have fun playing Minecraft
Whew. A bit more wordy then I thought it would be. I cannot 100% guarantee that I will stay on the server, as there will probably be a period where I "look around" and see if it's right for me, but nevertheless I hope to be accepted
Aug 15, 2012TheRuski posted a message on gnarCraft - A Mature Completely Vanilla Survival ServerHey Gnar, I was just wondering if I've been accepted or denied, as it's been a few days and part of me is antsy. If you haven't had to a chance to decide yet, it's okay, I was just wondering. I hope I don't seem too over-eager haha.Posted in: PC Servers
I also have a few questions about the server, namely how stable is it and what kind? For example, is it one of those where you have to log on again just to get in, or is it the more efficent/less glitchy whitelisted? Also, how many people are usually on?

I love Minecraft as a game, there's so much you can do and explore and create it just boggles my mind.
I like making things that are different and awesome. For example, if no one has an underwater house, I'll make an underwater house without walls. Tree houses? The biggest tree you've ever seen. To put it simply, my creative juices and determination go into overdrive when completing a project.
I'm almost always on minecraft atleast once a day. I do play other games, like Battlefeild 3, but Minecraft is my main time sink.
My age is 17 and 5 months. Hopefully this is closer to your suggested then most, and likewise I hope it doesn't negatively affect everything else I've posted.
Also, if you have any questions for me, feel free to ask them.
