Happy New Year! Now I need the download button, c'mon! lol

Uh, try checking their Github for the last download left there by them. If it can't be found, then I guess I can give you a download link of my Betweenlands mod, although I think it's against the rules as I've modified it. Texture wise modified it. Some textures are different than of the official ones, and modified to my desire, sadly, I do not have the textures of the official items.

So I guess I can give you a fan-modified version of it? It's not heavily modified, but most item textures have been modified, so I think that's against the rules, and copyright laws? I don't know, but I'll see if I'm allowed to do this, and I'll give you the download.

Hey! So, not that I'm implying that you stole textures or anything, but is it me or do the Skyroot Buckets from the Aether mod look almost identical to the Weedwood Buckets? Again, I'm not implying that you "took" anything from anywhere, but I'm just wondering.

If you'd like to check it out, I made some new Weedwood Bucket textures that look a bit more different from Skyroot Buckets, and they feel a bit more "Swampy" to me, they also look a bit more closer to Weedwood planks. Here are the textures below:

    - New Weedwood Bucket.

    - New Weedwood Bucket of Swamp Water.

    - New Weedwood Bucket of Stagnant Water.

    - New Weedwood Bucket of Tar.

    - New Weedwood Bucket of Liquid Rubber.

    - New Weedwood Bucket of Infusion.

P.S. Merry Christmas to you developers!

Hello! Now, I know you aren't accepting ideas, but I decided I should probably just show it to you guys. The best part? I have concept art and how the items should look! Here it is!

    Filiformis Sundew

When breaking Sundews with a Sickle, there is a very uncommon chance that you will receive Sundew Pods. I made how the item would look as shown here ---->

Once those are collected, you have the ability to place them on compost, when they are in Stage 1, you must right click the little infant Sundew with a ground item that has the aspect Byariis, and it will change it's appearance into a baby Drosera Filiformis. If you do not Corrupt the small Sundew, on time, it will continue growing and just become the default Sundew, which will do nothing special. Once the Sundew is past Stage 1 of growing, it won't have the ability to be corrupted anymore. So, you might want to act quickly once it's planted.

When the Sundew is corrupted, it will still continue to grow, but very slowly. This can be sped up with 14-18 Ground Dried Swamp Reed. Once it's fully done growing, it will provide no fruit or vegetables and it will look like this. But, however, there's a twist!

The evolved Sundew will yield a chance for it to catch any small animal! From time to time, it will catch either a Termite, Frog, Silt Crab, Dragonfly, Geckos, Fireflies, Sporelings, or the new mob; The rare Marshpod Maggot! More information will be shed on a different spoiler. Now, any small creature caught in the Sundew will still be in their entity form. This allows for players to easily catch Fireflies, Marshpod Maggots, and Geckos! The Sundew commonly catches bugs, while it uncommonly catches non-insects. However, it rarely, catches the Marshpod Maggot.

    Caution:

When any mob trapped inside the Sundew isn't collected or killed, it will eventually be "eaten" by the Sundew. When I say "eaten" I mean despawn.

    Marshpod Maggot

This is a very rare mob, and has a 0.2% chance to summon when breaking Weedwood Bushes, Mud, or Peat. It has a higher chance being trapped inside a Filiformis Sundew. They look somewhat like this. When they are caught in a Filiformis Sundew, they can be collected with a Net, and they will appear like so in your inventory ---> . If you'd like, there is an alternative texture I made without the face ---> .

When they are in your inventory, you have the ability to either make the special Fungus Favorite, or make Ground Marshpod Maggot , which will carry the Kymysel Aspect.

    Fungus Favorite

( I had trouble editing the image a bit, OK? Atleast I tried... )

The Fungus Favorite is a very odd and stinky, but important in the dimension to all hostile mobs. It's crafted with 1 Fungus, 1 Marshpod Maggot, 1 Rotten Food, and 1 Raw Snail Meat. The outcome is Fungus Favorite ! Now, the reason why it's has "Favorite" in it is because all Hostile Mobs of the dimension, (Excluding Bosses) are strongly attracted to the strong smell of the meal, and the taste. When the meal is in your inventory, all mob spawning is increased by 32% and Swamp Hags are increased in speed. You also become very noticeable to Wights, Peat Mummies, and Lurkers become hostile. So basically- everything tries to get you as much as they can! They also go after it, when on the ground.

But, when eaten, it will fill all your Decay and 2 Hunger Icons. But here's the twist! All damage done to you, (excluding Void damage) will take away Decay Bubbles instead of Hearts! If you drain all your Decay Bubbles, the Special effect will go away and the Decay bar will remain empty, making you lose Maximum health. You will also take damage by Hearts again. So, the effect lasts for 1 whole minute, and if you lose all Decay points, you will revert back to taking damage through Hearts, but your Max Health would basically be so low by this point due to Decay. During this stage, all foods/drinks that restore Decay Icons will still restore Decay points, but each item would fill up 3 Hunger icons, which means you can only eat/drink Decay-resistant foods/drinks only if you are hungry. If you are full, you cannot eat any Decay-Resistant foods.

    Ground Marshpod Maggot/Kymysel Aspect

When the Marshpod Maggot is inserted in a Mortar and Pestle, it will become a Ground Marshpod Maggot . Since this creature is already very rare, it will always have the Aspect, Kymysel, which is the Aspect correlating with the act of Increasing. It affects how long Infusions last, and with some Infusions, how high their level may be.

Concept Symbol: ( I had trouble making it in the same style as the other symbols. )

So, this is my idea, you may not have time to fully implement it, or even implement it at all, but you have the freedom to use some parts of the idea, and leave out some parts you may not like. It is also up to you whether to give me credit or not. Thanks! Sprites were made in Paint.net

Hey! I'm just wondering, what program do you use for:

    1. Making the item textures

    2. Making the block and entity textures

    3. Making the models for blocks and entities

    4. Making all sounds. Just sounds.

    That's about it! Thanks!

Yes, hello? Well, uh, I got two important questions to answer.

    1. Why is the WeedWood lantern crafted with non-Betweenlands items/resources? It kinda defeats the purpose of it.

    2. I can't seem to place any lanterns at all, whether in Survival or Creative, it's kinda starting to bother me. Is there something I'm missing? Or is it just a bug?

Anyways, other than that, thanks a ton! And splendid mod you have there!

I'm making my prediction early. I'm guessing that the tempting Fig will have some involvement with summoning a kind of boss. Evidence suggests that the Fig is dangerous, or "tempting" and it even has it's own .ogg file for some reason. Playing this file reveals some kind of introduction ambiance to a boss, perhaps...

Hey, yes? This is an important question, but, are you looking for someone who textures? I've remade some of your sprites, some even made from scratch, and I'm wondering if your looking for better textures for some foods. I've retextured around 40sh foods/crops, and wondering if you'd like to use some in your official mod.

If you're interested, I can give you some of the textures, just PM me or reply back!

Yes? Hello? Well, I'm in a current situation where I'm partially unhappy with one mod of yours. There seems to be a problem, where I'm forced to keep DragonAPI or I won't be able to play my survival world at all. So, I'm forced to stay with DragonAPI which oddly makes me lag more. I know it's most likely not your fault, but, do you have any way I could resolve this issue without the requirement of a backup? Yeah, thanks!

Apologies, but is that an inside joke, or are you being serious? It's kinda hard to tell how someone says something over the Internet.

I feel bad turning it down since you put a lot of thought into it, but a black skeleton horse isn't such a rich idea. Instead, you've overcomplicated most of its features to give the illusion of depth. Sorry, but no thanks.

Ah, I see. Well, machinery and such contrasts with the fantasy theme of the mod. We'll see.

I'm not sure I understand. Is this a mob? An aesthetic addition?

Aww shucks. Thanks anyways for giving my idea a chance. Also, I'm wondering, when are you expecting to fully finish the Barakoa?

The suggestion is done, and ready to be read!

So, I see you are considering Ideas! I've come up of a mob that I thought should've been in a future Vanilla MC, but I decided it actually seems to fit this mod more.

    The Nethunrian Black Bone

    Backstory:

Ever since The Battle of Glisten, A world of thick, verdant flora has been greatly impacted into a desolate hell of decay. They call this new world, The Nether. The world's old flora and fauna has been converted into what the human race sees today, Pigmen, Ghasts, Magma Cubes, and so on; so forth. The species who driven their home to a hell? They are known as the species, Witheroccistua Conputrussua but many of them refer to them as "The Withered" They consist of Withered Skeletons and a hulking, menacing beast, The Wither. There has been a new recent fossil discovery in the Nether that shows the possible existence of Horses that seem of to have been too corrupted by Withering. And so there is they call it- The Nethunrian Black Bone! It's never been truly explained why they were made, but evidence suggests that they were left behind by Farmers of the pre-Hell Era of The Nether, and were corrupted, but adapted to the new hellish change. Legend has it that they reside very deep in Soulsand deserts, where ranchers used to raise livestock. But is the existence of the Black Bone truth? Or blasphemy? Well, it's up to the player to find out for the world.

    How It would look:

It would be a Skeleton Horse with the texture of it's bones black to match a Wither Skeleton's color. It would be very tall, due to long slender legs that appear very crooked at the joints and various other places. It would look something like this. Except, again, with very crooked-looking legs. It's height would be 4 blocks, taller than Endermen! It would also have various untrimmed patches of Nether Warts growing on various parts of the horse, kinda like acne on a horse. Yuck. It would also have a second snout growing uncontrollably on the side of it's torso to show some mutation.

    How to tame it:

Fools! Did you honestly think you could just simply put a saddle on it and both be on your way happily? Think again! This mighty oaf has a anger so violent, it even attacks the neighboring Pigmen on occasion! So, adventurer, to first find this beast, you must travel to the deepest of Soulsand deserts, located in the Nether, where you will find a destroyed/corrupted old horse pen with a group of burnt hay blocks next it. It will be very dark, so bring torches! As you finally approach the dark pen, you will be attacked by The Black Bone before you can even have a glimpse at it. You won't even know what hit you!

    Nethunrian Black Bone:

    HP: 300 (150 Heart Icons)

Damage: 4 every hit (2 Hearts)

Attack 1: The Black Bone is a strategic horse that attacks you by trampling. It dashes fast at you in a straight line, leaving the player with a second or two to dodge it's attack. If it successfully tramples you, sound or plays, and you either receive Slowness V for 3 seconds, or you receive a new effect called "Leg Numbness" which makes you fall to the floor and make it seem like your crawling, you can then get up in 3 seconds. But don't worry, you'll have time to crawl away from the Horses's dash as it keeps dashing for a few seconds after it's trampled you, and steers to a stop to just turn around. Thus, giving you time!

    Attack 2:
From time to time, it will begin rearing, and let out a demonic neigh. Once it's hooves hit the the ground, a circular pattern of particles will go around it, (Kinda like when you land hard on a block in MC 1.7+), and you will then be vibrating in place for a few seconds, unable to move, during that time, it might dash at you.

    Attack 3:
This is it's special attack. Sometimes, the Horse will dash at you at a moderate speed, and gobble up anything that you are holding, while you take half a heart damage, as if he munched some of your fingers in the process, whether it be a diamond sword, or even a block, it'll eat anything! Whatever he gobbles up will be visible through it's ribcage, and stay there until you slay it, or tame it.

    How to tame it:

Remember how it gobbles up anything in your hand? Well, that mechanic will be important in taming it! In order to make it calm down, you will need 4 fireworks of any kind, and a Flint & Steel. When you left click on the Firework and you have a Flint & Steel right next to it in your hotbar, it will begin to detonate, and in a few seconds, it will make a huge colorful explosion that won't destroy any blocks, but harm anyone who is foolish enough to hold it. It will deal 4 hearts of damage and keep you on fire for 2 seconds if you fail to let go of it when it explodes. Well, anyways, when it starts dashing at you, and it gobbles up the detonating Firework in your hand, it will explode in the Horse, and damage it greatly, you will need to do this 4 times.

Once it's HP is depleted to near 0, it will fall to the ground, and lie there, visibly breathing. You can then either kill it by breaking it's ribcage with an axe, and collect any items he gobbled up. Or, you could instead spare him, and feed him any kind of Golden tool, item, nugget, ingot, etc. Just anything that is made from Gold, and he will happy munch on the soft, glistening metal you feed him.

Once he is fed until he has full HP, he won't be hostile anymore, but Neutral, and you can then bring him to the Overworld, where it will eat a pig, and eat the raw porkchops- the food of love to these creatures. During that moment, you'll have to literately pillar up until you're at a higher level than him, then jump on it's back and you will be riding on it. If the procedure is successful, red hearts will appear around him, and you will successfully tame it!

    Rewards:

After that long procedure, you'd expect a big reward, yes! He does have a reward! You can equip it with a saddle, and ride it! When riding it, It has the ability to trample anybody poor sap who gets in your way! The only way to trample enemies is to go right through them, and be riding your Horse at a high speed. They also have the ability to wear the rare Quartz armor, which grants your Horse Horseshoes to further damage anyone you trample! Along with the ability of being able to break blocks if hit hard enough.

It also a pretty cool ability of being able to be Sheared, in which the Nether warts will be cut off, and you'll receive 10 Nether wart! After your Horse has been sheared, it's Nether Warts will grow back slowly, so, you get a Infinite supply of Nether Wart!

But wait, there's more! What you can do is feed your Horse any kind of item, or block, (Maximum 3 items) and in 1 Minecraft day, he'll well, uh, "Pop" it back out through the other end. When you receive the item he ate, It will now give anyone you hit the Wither effect for 3 seconds, along with 5 seconds of Slowness 2- But, if it was a tool or weapon you fed it, it's durability will be lowered by 20%. But hey, you got a some sweet potion effects on that sword!

If, however, you decide to kill The Horse, you will be given your items back, but you'll also have a different reward.

Witness, the Ribcage of The Withered when equipped, it will take up all armor slots, and you'll have the ability to negate 35% damage completely, along with a 20% chance of effecting anyone hitting you with the Wither III effect for 2 seconds.

You also have the ability to tuck in your head, arms, and legs, like a Turtle, and lie on the floor, negating all damage by 80%. While in this mode, Creepers, Ghasts, Skeletons, and Endermen will not notice you, or ignore you. All other mobs will still head for you.

However, this Ribcage has the durability of a set of Iron armor, and can be easily destroyed. While equipped, you'll be slower by 15% and you'll have the inability to sprint.

The last thing you can do with it, is place it like a block, and when powered by redstone while on top of a single fence block, it will move in a fashion kinda like a mechanical bull. You can ride it, but it will randomly knock you of it's back. It's pretty fun to ride when there's no adventuring to be done.

    Disadvantages of Reward:

The Horse after tamed, will sadly, have disadvantages as well. The horse won't be able to go through the Nether portal, thus, forcing you to build a bigger Portal. (Minimum size for The Horse to fit: 4x2 Portal) Apart from that, if the Horse is not equipped with Quartz armor, it will easily take fall damage due to it's very long and thin legs that are prone to break.

Another thing, if you want to ride the Horse, you won't be able to just easily click on him, and ride it! You'll need to be at a higher elevation than of the Horse's in order to sit on him, due to it's very tall figure.

Concept Structure of where The Black Bone Horse will be found:

    Without torches

Also, FYI, The structures aren't supposed to have torches, they are just there for clarity. :)
