    I've got a humble little Cave Spider grinder and a fully-shelved Enchanting Table, and I've spent a good few hours grinding away at the noisy little buggers for that striven-for level 50 enchantment. However, disappointingly, my diamond pick ended up with naught but Efficiency IV. So, I pose a question to the community. Is it better to say, get a few, mid-high level enchantments, or is it still worthwhile to grind up to 50 in the hopes of achieving high-quality enchantments? I've had very little luck in the way of enchantment, so any input would be most appreciated.

    Can't wait to see your take on the screenshot items. I suppose I can wait until the release, but my world just looks so blasé without this texture pack, and unfortunately, it's situated next to a lovely jungle, so all I see are gray sticks and green blobs when using it. :[

    I've been experiencing lag when around/in jungle biomes, but I assumed that was the abundance of leaf blocks/leaf decay causing visual lag. Try and locate an area free of jungles/dense forests and see if your lag persists. If I make a superflat world, or I'm in a desert/plains biome, I have no lag.

    Spider eyes make an excellent food source, because when eaten, the four second poison is quickly regenerated. String is also handy to have around, what with the new bow enchantment and durability.

    Cave Spider spawners are also easier and more reliable to find, and can often come in pairs, resulting in more potential exp in a farm.

    Could this possibly be inspired by Pokemon Blue color tones? That's what I was instantly reminded of when I saw the pictures. Either way, it's terrific for an entry to the 8-bit contest.

    Ahah! Long have I waited and wanted, and now the waiting is assuaged with sweet relief from default textures. Armed with my very favorite Stitchpunk skin, and a brand new world to explore, soon I'll be delving deep into the expansive and immersive world I've come to miss from Pixeludi textures. From the Nether to the End, I'm sure I'll be reveling in it all. As I type, the Ad.Fly link is ticking down, and the World of Warcraft ad is telling me how much Chuck Norris loves his hunter class, but I couldn't care less about either, all I'm eager for is more Pixeludi.

    As for that save, too bad it's in creative, but hot damn, that would be an intense fight. There's a few ways to make creative into survival, including downloading the latest snapshot and pressing B. However, I feel like that would be insanely tedious and intense fight to go through with legitimately.
