It was never actually supported once newer updates for the game came out, it was just there for the people that wanted to build without worrying about limited resources. I believe it dropped off once Creative Mode was re-added to the game.
Even then, it is currently available in the launcher under historical versions.

Sell your current computer and get a new one, since it has one of the worst intel CPU types. The 'U' type of intel chips throttle down to a measily 798mhz and a single core when they detect they are using up too much power, which is not even enough to run any basic program(including the OS itself) and is the reason for Minecraft being stuck at a solid 30FPS your computer. The reason PC manufactures still use this faliure of a chip type is because it is in-expensive and allows them to blame the throttling on you treating the computer bad, or tell you that your computer is 'old and slow' and encourage you to pay more money for a new one that is 'faster' and has the same issue.
Long story short, don't use ANY computer or laptop when the name of the intel chip has a 'U' at the end.

Sounds like the Admins were either young children or very triggered if they banned you for raiding their own clan.

Search it up on google. Also, no installation is required, you just have to extract the contents to a folder and run the MultiMC exe file.

Use a 3rd party launcher like MultiMC. It runs better and is far more stable than the current launcher.
Mojang thought that making the official launcher more modern and looking like a mobile app was for the better, but they managed to mess up big-time.

Nope.

It isn't dying, and it isn't booming either. The game is neutral at this point. Sure, people are going to say "OMG the game is dying!" when they get bored or a new update comes out. But that has been going on for years now. Also, Mojang could release a 2.0 update if they wanted which could make the game popular again if it contains really great and unique features.

I was actually inbetween, but since there is not an "I don't know" option, I chose yes.
This was because te exhaustion rate for various actions was reduced, which means that you will be going through less food, and that you can actually walk for a lot longer distance with little hunger remaining(helps greatly with 2B2T exploring as well). Some may think tat is OP, but the Regeneration exhaustion being increased makes up for the buffs, which also means that you can't be reckless in fights and take lots of damage while relying off of a Golden Carrot to restore a lot of your health while running.

Well that is a good thing the universal launcher doesn't update by itself. But still, how many users requesting support for Minecraft have told what launcher they use? Not very many, because the chances of a launcher affecting the game are not very high. If they are denied support due to using the 3rd party launcher, then they would simply go and ask for support elsewhere, or lie and say they are using the official launcher.
I do understand the downsides of using a 3rd party launcher, but the pros of using a 3rd party launcher outweigh the cons, especially if the 3rd party launcher has way more features than the official launchers and is generally more stable to use.

Except that's a temporary solution. Mojang could finish the horrid 2.0 update for the universal launcher at any time and force upon millions of people's throats, with no choice of declining the update.
As for MCF not providing support for MultiMC, users can ask the MultiMC community for assistance(heck, the source is available on GitHub and you can report bugs there), or go to any other Gaming support site and ask for help there.

Sorry for bumping this incredibly old thread, but is it possible to use this mod in MultiMC as a 'JAR' mod?

Your map could get more attention if you post it onto PMC. IT's another popular site that people go to for maps and mods.

Mojang didn't like how the old launcher was not pretty enough.
You can use another launcher called MultiMC, which has the same features as the official launcher as well with a boatload of additional features. I made the switch after the new launcher kept taking up 500MB of my RAM while open(and the fact that it crashes completely when the game log is shown for more than a few minutes).

Good for you for reaching the front page! Now we have TWO Pokemon games made in Vanilla Minecraft! Just be sure to have copies of this map ready to be hosted elsewhere just in case Nintendo takes this map down.

I would probably look at the Instant Structures Mod or World Edit mod. Try removing them and seeing if the crash persists. Also, you should get this moved to the Modded Support section so more people can help you with the crash.

Don't use the official launcher, it doesn't like modding very well. Use a 3rd party launcher like MultiMC, which allows you to create a Forge Installation or load 'jar' mods alongside a vanilla installation.
