posted a message on Is this a bug ?

Yes, it is actually a bug, but it's very well known. It's called a BUD (Block Update Detector).

Watch this video by MumboJumbo, who explains it fairly well:

posted a message on Help With Scoreboard

I think the solution could be much simpler. First, add the scoreboards (obviously) :

    /scoreboard objectives add kills playerKillCount

    /scoreboard objectives add dead stat.deaths

    /scoreboard objectives add Points dummy

Then, if a player dies (with a score higher than -50), he will execute a command at the closest player who has killed a player at the same tick (if there is one). If there isn't a killer, the command won't run (it will be unsuccessful).

    /execute @a[score_dead_min=1,score_Points=-50] ~ ~ ~ scoreboard players add @p[score_kills_min=1] Points 2

The same would happen for the opposite. If a player gets a kill, he will execute a command at the closest dead player to lower his score:

    /execute @a[score_kills_min=1] ~ ~ ~ scoreboard players remove @p[score_dead_min=1] Points 2

Then, reset the score (again, obviously)

    /scoreboard players reset @a[score_kills_min=1] kills

    /scoreboard players reset @a[score_dead_min=1] dead

At the end, you can reward/reset/cap players who reach 100+ Points.

    /scoreboard players set @a[score_Points_min=100] Points 0

    (To reset)

    /scoreboard players set @a[score_Points_min=101] Points 100

    (To cap)

Lol yeah. My solution doesn't even work, because you can't select fake players through selectors.
    Though I would do this:

    /execute @a[score_dead_min=1,score_Points_min=-48] ~ ~ ~ scoreboard players add @p[score_kills_min=1] Points 2

Because the minimum score at which the player should recieve points for killing is -48.

    And also:

    /execute @a[score_kills_min=1] ~ ~ ~ scoreboard players remove @p[score_dead_min=1,score_points_min=-48] Points 2

Because the points should not get lower than -50.

Is the owner of the protected area able to place fire when another player, who doesn't own the area, is in the same protected area?
