posted a message on TeNNoX' Mods [Official]

TeNNoX, just wanted to say that I found the mod with the maze building thing. It's Fungicraft, and to be honest, I'd like to see a bacterium that uses its maze builder's functionality. It would be cool, in case the Fungicraft mod is discontinued.

    Hey, thanks!
Well, but I think it is a different mod and although I can imagine how a different Bacterium species could have similar functionality, I don't think I have the time / motivation for it - I can't even keep up with the bare updating of my mods ;)

    Quote from NemoOceansoul»

i swear i thought i posted this a few months back, maybe it was on another thread -shrugs- anywho:

i really love assembly/bacteria great mods =) however i have a few slight problems with pacman and the assembly table =(

note the version of the assembly mod im using is 1.7.10-2.1 (about to look to see if theres been an update)

for pacman he seems to eat the ores from Chromaticraft and not actually output anything, no dusts or crystals =(

as for the assembly table it seems that when its overflowed due to it getting more items than it can craft itll drop the raw ingredients, it also appears that theres no way to stop any of the item moving blocks from just constantly moving items everywhere, even if the object its trying to move things into is full, wish they would shutoff if the inventory they link to was full (for now ill just use them as a direct "move from 1 chest to another" and then use the 2nd chest as a buffer for my extra utilities auto-sorter, speaking of extra utilities, it seems when i try to compress cobblestone more than once it wont output "double compressed cobblestone" or its variants =(

if any of these were fixed in a more recent version then you can probably ignore this, if it hasnt then at least your more the wiser right =D

    have a nice day ^_^

    Thank you for your feedback!
I'm not sure how soon I can look at it, but I created issues on my issue board:
Pacman & Chromaticraft, Full chest handling and Double compressed cobblestone
To the Assembly Workbench overflow - as far as I remember, this was intended behaviour. This way you can just chain multiple Workbenches, and the next one will handle the raw items. Either try this or let me know if this is not what you mean.

If you PICK a code lock door it'll crash!plz fix it
    thanks!

    Without
any further information I'm not able to help here... Also, you have a
shitload of other mods installed that could have caused the crash (One
of them even complains about not being compatible with other ones in
    your log:

EnderIO: Found the following problem(s) with your installation:
    * Optifine is installed. This is NOT supported.
    * An unsupportted old AE2 API is installed (rv1 from RemoteIO-1.7.10-2.3.B0-universal.jar).
Ender IO was build against API version rv2 and will NOT work with older versions.

    * The RF API that is being used (1.7.10R1.3.1 from ) differes from that
that is reported as being loaded (1.7.10R1.0.13 from
    EnderIO-1.7.10-2.3.0.429_beta.jar).
It is a supported version, but that difference may lead to problems.
This may have caused the error. Try reproducing the crash WITHOUT this/these mod(s) before reporting it.

If you can isolate the problem with my mod alone or with my mod and ONE
other mod, or give me any more information on how to reproduce it, I can
    see what I can do.

Awesome mod dude! I think that replacing bacteria should be obtainable in survival mode but you would need like a nether star and lots of diamonds to craft it.

Nether Star and a Diamond Block? Sounds interesting :P

Any idea why the texture of the blocks would look odd? The block shown "placed" is a block of Must.

    I have no idea...
Works fine for me (and most others too, as it seems), so I'd say there is something wrong with your textures... :P

Oh I know! Make it craft-able by a emerald block/beacon with a bacteria swarm around it. Call it a super bacteria.

I am not sure if this is a good idea that everybody would be happy about...
maybe that's more of an option for the config file (eat_bedrock=true/false)

If I would implement a super bacteria it would need some other special stuff, like
    - faster
    - harder to stop
    - negative impacts on player/entities (blindness, slow, ...)
    - not limited to blocktypes
-> like a disease or something

I created an issue page for that: Super/Dark Bacteria - GitHub

Again in this post, because this is a direct reply: One restriction could be that bacterias don't drop themselves when mined. Because this way you can duplicate them extremely quickly.

This is a bug. (issue created here) Thanks for reporting it, although you didn't know it was a bug :P

    Will fix it next version.

    Quote from CruaverVoidDrake jump

One restriction might be survival version and creative version, where survival version can only change 100 or so blocks, while creative is indefinite.

I thought of stuff like that, yes (and other ideas here)...

    Quote from Brigadon»

My goodness, Tennox, looking back through the posts you certainly seem to have acquired the lowest common denominator. For a 'lite' automation mod, assembly fits the bill nicely. Planetoids seems to similar to the better world generation version... did you share code or develop the same thing independently? Your version is superior (some planetoids are vegetated) although I will confess that I do not understand the point behind bacteria.

I am really looking forward to a 1.8 version of assembly.

    Thank you very much :P

I don't know about that 'better world generation' version (do you have a link?). And no, I did write all of it on my own. :)
The idea was from Seibei though! :) (link)

    Great Mods!

But I have a question about the Custom Selection Box

I can only open the Custom Selection Box setting in main screen option , I can't adjust in game. (See attachment)

    It's very inconvenience.

But maybe it's becuse I've installed some other mods with those setting options.

Could this be solved ? Thank you.

My game version is 1.8 , with Forge #1334.

    Thanks!
Well, that's a pitty! I added an issue.
It will take some time, till I will fix this. In the meantime, try setting 'differentButtonLocation' in the properties file to 'true'. And tell me if that helps.

    Thanks for the report!

I think that replacer colonies should be expensive.

Yes. I will change the recipe for the next version.
I planned to remove them from survival mode, but you guys don't seem to want that (see the poll here).
Maybe I will implement some restrictions to them.

    Oooh, thank you.
According to Björk, and great mystics, we're all made of love (but it seems somes are made of stone...). Anyway...

I think you've completly forgotten to do that. ;)
This idea will be very helpfull.
I've got a 265² area to dig (A witches farm yes ^^), and Pacci just want to dig trenches...

And, if I can ask after a new feature/overhaul/improvement:
Could you make some kind of GUI to better manage the digger please? Like the beacon GUI in fact. It'll be great if we could command to stop the job at a specific altitude, and allow us to provide the digger with pickaxes to command the digging speed instead of fuel it with iron/gold/diamond (expensive for a tool which reset itself when deconstructed). In this manner, we could get back the pickaxe when the job is done or to pause the digging process; a kind of switch. If we want the job run fast, we will have to do without a diamond pickaxe & waiting as long as Pacci use it. The price of a speedy mining job in other word.

Yes, I will do that in the next version... (also update to 1.8), but it will take time. (I don't have much of it)

The pickaxe digger idea is already on my todo list some time.

What do you mean by GUI for the digger?
the altitude at which it stops can already be set by a marker below it.
