Im glad to see someone working on putting all of these mods that improve gameplay together. With SMP in the sad state its in right now, and the lack of a proper modding API, it helps to have some of these tools when playing. Furthermore, i see how things like x-ray would help people who are really just waiting for beta creative mode to have more fun.
I noticed that the current system for map generation is a little limited. It's nice, no doubt, but has its flaws. Two of the biggest flaws i see in the current system are 1)How it handles large maps, and 2)its lack of built in modularity. I think this could be remedied with the release of a tool that allows the generation of maps with given set parameters. Sort of like ZomBuster's map generator for indev, but with a GUI, for massive map generation.
Suggested Features
-Ability to Generate worlds out of game
-can specify size of area to generate (like 200x300 chunks)
-API for modders to code custom level generation rules
-SMP server integration
I feel that a tool like this would address my two main concerns.
1)Large maps would be uniform, without missing areas scattered about. It would also allow for SMP servers, or people with crappy computers, to generate large areas while out of game for maximum performance in-game.
2)The included API could make code intrusive mods obsolete, and give more power over how the level generator works to the players. Mods like Terrain Tweaker and BiomeTerrain would become unnecessary.
You do realize that the people who defend notch tooth and nail are half the problem. They feed arguments that would otherwise die and **** off the people who rage, and feed the trolls. stop trying to act like you, the notch defense force, are better that them.
wow, notch defense force everywhere. every time he ****s up, even a little, you guys are like "OHOHOHO its alpha" of "GET REFUNDZZZZ" and all that does is feed the trolls even more.

1. What constitutes definite proof that i am the server owner? would a screenshot of the server console on my PC suffice?
2. Do you have to add my server to the list of whitelisted servers in the main post? i would like it to remain private.
3. Is a PM on the forums a good way to contact you? is there an email address or something you would rather be contacted with?
