So I have an iron farm running on my world, and it’s producing villagers like crazy too. Is there an efficient way to make it double as a breeder? I was thinking of putting water channels around it to capture the baby villagers.
This might seem a little bit petty, but you apparently can’t set your world type to “flat” and have it on survival mode. The selection automatically changes when you try to change it.
Minecraft is a sandbox game. Why would something like that be implemented? If someone wanted to play superflat survival they’re SOL.
The only way I have found to get them to regenerate (and I use that term very loosely) is to run around the fortresses in peaceful to clear everything out and then put it back on hard and go over them again.
Obviously, not something I cba with doing, just something I noticed when clearing pigman because of huge lag buildups.

Ive tried killing pigmen off too, but I haven’t tried switching it on and off peaceful. I’ll try that next!
I’ve noticed it, too. I think I’ve seen and killed six, and I’ve been everywhere. The last few times I was in the nether I used my elytra to find more forts and still no luck.
I started this world the day that the Better Together Update was released, and I’ve had a great time despite the update’s quirks. I’m currently playing on an iPad Pro 9.7”.
I started in 2010 too! I’ve seen over the years that people for the most part stick to row farming for looks, but theres definitely a lot more people doing what you’re doing than you may realize. A lot of medieval builds I remember seeing pop up after beta used that sort of methods for large fields of wheat. I’ve seen a handful of people try to maximize the tilled soil to water, but not as often as aesthetic stuff. When i first start a world I usually just do a 9x9 derp square with a water source in the middle.
What do you like to do in Minecraft? I really enjoy building, but I've started experimenting with redstone as well! I also like to think I'm pretty decent at combat, and I'm really digging the new mechanics.
Would anyone be interested in playing in a Realm with rotating biome related survival challenges? (i.e desert only, survival island, cold beach, chunk challenges)
I was thinking maybe keep each map active for 30 days and give us time to build up our survival areas. I wanted it to really feel like survival, for us to have to hunt for resources and work together as a team.
If this is a stupid idea please tell me in the comments section, and if you're interested feel free to comment your IGN on here and tell a little bit about yourself. If you have any other suggestions outside the ones listed in the poll tell me! I'm open to ideas.

I’m wanting to export one of my worlds off my iPad (.mcworld file? I think?). Has anybody had any success doing this?

Creamy? Washed out? Pale? It’s especially bad when it rains.
Did I install it wrong somehow? 13.1 wasn’t like this.
I’m playing on an iPad Pro 9.7” with faithful 32x textures.
