First of all: you only need around 6 or 7 chests in your lifetime. just saying.
NOTE: ALWAYS KEEP 1 STACK OF PLANKS IN EACH CHEST
1 wood (logs and planks as well as boats and bowls and fences and signs and all the wood crap)
1 (or 2) building materials: cobble, dirt, sand and sandstone, gravel, wood if you build with it, smooth stone, moss stone and if you have enough, obsidian
1 plants: mushrooms, saplings, bone meal, seeds, wheat and other plants
1 tools: any tools and anything with durability, shears, fishing rods, flint'n'steel
1 food: bread apples meat flesh spider eyes and all stew
1 valuables: ores and ingots, diamonds, ender pearls, obsidian, any enchanted stuff, and if you think things like eggs and cake and flint and records are valuable thats fine.
1 armor and weapons: leather, spare ingots, any armor, arrows, swords, bows,
1 technical: redstone, any rails, repeaters redstone torches, dispensers, jukeboxes, note blocks, TNT, anything you see fit.
1 misc: feathers, flesh if you wont eat it, spare bones (for wolves) eggs, flint, buckets, lapis lazuli, dyes, wool, anything else.
1 mod chest/overlapped items: any spare items from other chests that are full and modded/ illegal items (illegal as in grass, mob spawners and that crap)

The best mod in my opinion, unless you dont want to be too serious about survival and would rather throw exploding donuts, (mo' creeps and wierdos is an awesome mod too) is equivalent exchange. 'nuff said.
Dunno if this is a bug or not, endermen glitching.
Endermen teleport when I hit them, but don't appear for a few seconds and when they do, they are not hostile and they are sometimes 50 blocks away on a tree.
