    • If your mod has tools that aren't supported by this mod you may add it to the mod yourself via:-
    • net.minecraft.src.mod_BackTools.addBackItem(Class cls, int orientation, boolean flipped);
    • net.minecraft.src.mod_BackTools.addBackItem(int itemID, int orientation, int[] meta, boolean flipped);
    • class is the class the item is an instance of. orientation values, 0 - 3 (rotation counterclockwise by 90F * orientation). set meta to null if not meta specific. set flipped to true for vertical flipping of the texture.
    • Or... you could tell me the info required and I could add it on my end. (if itemID, please tell me the class and field instead) ;)


    Is there any reason why this couldn't have been done with an external configuration file?

    At least the mod balances things. The con of using it is that you need to be somewhere safe to sleep similar to the beta says. It's nice to sleep while you have steaks cooking without a chance of burning while I take a nap.

    Kind of sucks that OptiFine Light B3 isn't compatible with ModLoader or Forge. That's the only OF that even give any framerate boost (to me). My problem tends to be based in the CPU area, with a dual-core Pentium of 2.3GHz. 500MHz makes that much of a difference, especially for this game.

    Using ModLoader wouldn't hurt for mod compatibility in general. Tried it, no compass. Optifine or Smart Movement probably thought their GUI was more important

    Charcoal is underused? To me, Charcoal is my primary fuel source, since it is renewable. Lava pits also spawn and burn parts of forests, but can't totally burn every log. Pulling this allows for a Charcoal Block. Possibly crafted with nine Charcoal. If placed and mined again anyhow, it only returns one Charcoal for balance purposes.

    Honestly, gold would have been a better currency with base-9 levels from nugget-bar-block in a similar fashion to the cent and the dollar. A mint system could balance that out. The more gold a player has in their inventory, the more expensive items will be. It's a common tactic used on tourists in places, so why not?

    Since 1.4 is supposedly the speculated version the mod API will be released for, then hopefully SMP would work much like the Spoutcraft client. If the server has mods, the player can access them like they can with Bukkit plugins now.

    No. I agree there needs to be a personal mob (customizable with chests, etc.) but a horse just doesn't quite fit the theme. Since pigs can already be placed with a saddle on, there just needs to be a way to control them. To prioritize a straightforward and speedier method of transport, they cannot go as fast as a minecart on powered rails, but would be equal to sprinting without using such hunger.

    I'd honestly prefer an ostrich or a large, bipedal bird, but pigs will do.
