    Just a tip for people who have Ars Magica, their lecterns do not have this bug, and are partially intended for this use (Mithion actually said he purposely figured out how to add that in, he already had it for his books and spellcrafting). Use those instead.

    Its significantly farther than down. My stability setup is roughly 8 blocks below my matrix, and the matrix has nothing else for stability. It is stable enough to do a Dangerous infusion without a single flaw at all.




    Assuming I don't forget to place down that jar of Tutamen.

    Azanor, I've had a strange issue with it as well. Me and a friend were taking a boss on on our server, and the pearl simply did not spawn. Instead, it spawned a second rare treasure bag, which was sort of BS to us. And another thing (separate incident), I've seen the Eldritch Guardian boss have his "the floor is lava" attack destroy items that fall onto it, which has destroyed a rare loot bag in the past for me. The fact he was a Warding one, and literally took like 40+ hits to just break his ward with a smite V sword (which did 22 damage to undead, of which he should have been considering he was based on the Eldritch Guardians) was just icing on the cake of his BS, considering his raw damage output could take me out in like 5 seconds with mostly targeted attacks.


    Minor rant over. Like the system overall though, just those minor BS incidents can be a PITA. I do really wish we could make that locking mechanism ourselves though, in a way where it is resealable. Hell, a lot of your structure blocks would be nice to have decorative forms of (Matrix pillars, place-able horizontal and upside-down as well, Matrix block itself in it's animated form, pedestals in any direction.)





    Also, something I've been curious about for quite a while... why do we get the Infernal Furnace before Bellows, balance and progression wise? An upgrade to the vanilla furnace to have better efficiency and speed, before unlocking the faintly slower but free (with the same bellows from the previous setup) that also increases ore drops with the nuggets, makes a lot more sense progression wise for your gear. Hell, Infernal Furnace could be a post infusion thing after that, where it is dependent on something you have to make with the infusion alter to make the structure. I just wonder why anyone would ever use the triple bellow vanilla furnace when they could just use the infernal with the same bellows.


    I mean, this is a great time to consider swapping it up, all things considered.

    Is the one I use. I am using Java 8 version 31, so might not be relevant to what version you are using, but check. I heavily recommend going through and uninstalling ALL of your java versions though, just to clean it up, before installing a new version. It helps prevent issues.

    You can use NEI to grab the actual portal block and use it to enter the dimension, just make sure to place it on the worldgen platforms, or it can go disastrously wrong.

    Yep. I actually only use it when I am bulk-digging with my Primal Crusher, just so that I can save trips. Even then, the fact it is so in-effcient at stacking items between them if you have 2 makes it ineffective.

    Yea, the "endgame" of Minecraft is usually pretty lackluster. Mostly because nothing can even come close to your hyperscaled self (Enchants sort of break the system a bit). I personally don't think "god mode" should ever be obtainable. The Protection enchantment is, in my eyes, a big part of what breaks a lot of armor into a ridiculous state, even if it is meant to be a "utility" armor like the Harness, due to how it works on amping your damage resistance on top of what your armor already provides. If enchanting was a lot more like Ars Magica's Armor imbuement or the focus upgrades, it would feel a lot better, where you have actual choices and strong competition for that valuable "slot".

    A minor necro, but my signature also is having issues. Mind a fix? It's fairly annoying, because it was one of the largest ways I advertised my server was by just posting around on the forums as I normally do and people deciding to check out the signature link to my server's page because they were interested in it.

    Mind a recommendation? Hungry bag should play some sound when it gobbles something up, and perhaps have a whitelist function where it only picks of X item. Or, at the very least, a way to turn it on/off at will. It can be infuriating at times.

    You don't. Just use MCEdit to delete the erroring block, and it will fix it. I noticed the Forge thing doesn't really work 90% of the time.



    The only pain is the fact that MC Edit doesn't display mod blocks as anything other than a pink cube, and you have the read the data on the cube to know what it is.


    And upload times to the server. Ugg, uploading an entire world file takes ages...
