No idea. I would have to see the actual crash report.
It's either a glitch, some weird config, or he's lying.
Can anyone tell me what's wrong with my loot rules? I'm trying to add non-vanilla stuff to the loot chests, but the game just gives me incredibly unhelpful errors like this:
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: bound must be positive at java.util.Random.nextInt(Random.java:388) at greymerk.roguelike.treasure.TreasureManager.addItem(TreasureManager.java:70) at greymerk.roguelike.treasure.loot.LootRule.process(LootRule.java:31) at greymerk.roguelike.treasure.loot.LootRuleManager.process(LootRuleManager.java:73) at greymerk.roguelike.dungeon.Dungeon.generate(Dungeon.java:78) at greymerk.roguelike.dungeon.Dungeon.generateNear(Dungeon.java:66) at greymerk.roguelike.dungeon.Dungeon.spawnInChunk(Dungeon.java:144) at greymerk.roguelike.DungeonGenerator.generate(DungeonGenerator.java:20) at net.minecraftforge.fml.common.registry.GameRegistry.generateWorld(GameRegistry.java:120) at net.minecraft.world.chunk.Chunk.func_186034_a(Chunk.java:1001) at net.minecraft.world.chunk.Chunk.func_186030_a(Chunk.java:969) at net.minecraft.world.gen.ChunkProviderServer.func_186025_d(ChunkProviderServer.java:154) at net.minecraft.world.World.func_72964_e(World.java:303) at net.minecraft.world.World.func_175726_f(World.java:298) at net.minecraft.world.World.func_180495_p(World.java:842) at net.minecraft.world.World.func_175623_d(World.java:223)
My loot table files are in the config/roguelike_dungeons/settings/ folder and they are:
Edit: Well, I figured it out on my own. For some reason, it really hates the section at the top with the Quark runes.
Edit 2: Nope, nevermind. It just likes to randomly crash for no discernible reason. Ended up just uninstalling the mod entirely.
So, I was poking about in NEI, and there's an "equivalent" wand that ForbiddenMagic registers. It has a weird name that looks garbled all the time; "equivalent" is what I get from /mt hand. Looking at the source, yes, there's such a type, but I can't find the code that's making the name do that, and I can't figure out where the implementation is. Or perhaps it's a base thaumcraft thing that FM is just exposing? Anyway, I am confused.
EDIT: Alchemical. Nevermind. I just got thrown off by the name looking weird.
Forbidden Magic 0.575 has been uploaded to Curse and should be approved eventually.
Just a minor bugfix, for people having trouble infusing the Shovel of the Purifier.
That version of Forbidden Magic was released in March of 2015. Your copy of the mod is literally over a year old. There was a bug where the blood staff would wipe out your inventory, but it was fixed a long time ago.
I'm new to the forum, so if I'm in the wrong place or going about this wrong then tell me. I believe I've discovered an unintentional interaction between the Blood Magic Staff and Tinkerer's construct gear. When it cannot receive LP from the network (and hence, damages you) it will break any tinker's construct gear equipped, including any heart containers, traveller's glove, and most importantly (and annoyingly) will break your knapsack, deleting all items within. This was with keep inventory set to true. When I tested it with keep inventory set to false, it deleted all items I was carrying, which was only a blood staff and an equipped knapsack. This happened on the most recent updated version of Blightfall, which is running Tinkerer's Construct version 1.8.3.DEV.1911337 (dev = in development?) and Forbidden Magic Version 1.7.10-471. So If I'm in the wrong place any redirection would be much appreciated.
Forbidden Magic v0.574 uploaded to CurseForge and should be approved soon. Mainly just bugfixes.
