One quick way to troubleshoot this would be to boot your computer from an Ubuntu LiveUSB, open up firefox and see if it runs any better.
If it runs like crap in Ubuntu(which is very low-resource), then it's probably just your internet and has very little to do with your OS, in which case, you'll need to consult your provider to fix it.
Thanks but i'm talking about games,i can't even connect to any gameserver for like 10 seconds (except Minecraft). But everything else runs fine.
Pretty crappy results, that's because i live in a country with REALLLY REALLY bad Internet but i didn't have too much issues when i had XP.Really strange.
Are you using wireless internet?
I dont know why but when i put my pc together and i tried using the wifi, it was horribly slow, try getting a ethernet cable and plugging it in, see if it changes the speed.
Also dont forget to have all your drivers etc updated
So,i have a computer that had Windows XP professional and everything was fine,i was playing games with great internet connection. When i switched to Windows 7 i can't even play online in any game for just a minute.
Is it something with the Memory size? Because i heard that Windows 7 needs more Memory.
