Sep 10, 2012Why do you want to join: I've been meaning to find another vanilla SMP server for a while, since all these bukkit servers have me sick.Posted in: PC Servers
How often do you plan on playing: As often as I can put in a good amount of time, definitely once a day for a while if homework allows.
Have you read the rules: Yes, I have. I'm just hoping I didn't miss some little "put this in app" thing xD
If "yes" which rule is very important: No greifing. Definitely my most important rule, I hate to see my builds and any other's builds disturbed.
Why do you think we should let you join: I'm a funny, friendly, communicable, and personable guy who can interact with almost any kind of Minecraft player, besides blatant trolls and greifers.EDIT: IGN is AG_Knight. Failure.
Aug 28, 2012The game seems to crash occasionally when right clicking a nuclear reactor. Literally just downloaded the mod, it's the only mod besides FML and I apologize if this has been reported. I have no clue what anything is right now, gotta go read the cheat sheets.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Aug 15, 2012SovietKitty115 posted a message on [CHALLENGE] The Minecraft Nuzlocke (or something) [CHALLENGE]Foreword:Posted in: Survival Mode
Recently, Minecraft has become much too boring for my tastes. I haven't been able to build anything good, haven't been able to appreciate anything in Minecraft much at all. I was browsing around the Web for a bit, including MCF, trying to think of things to make Minecraft fun again. Instead of taking on a challenge like "get 64 logs den nevar cum too da surfuce evar agin evurrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111111111111oneone," I decided to craft my own. While thinking of a basis for my new challenge, I came up with the Pokemon Nuzlocke challenge. Not much of my challenge is actually based on the challenge, but it gave me the refreshing jolt that fueled the monster you are about to read.
Minecraft "Nuzlocke" Challenge:
-Can only harvest ONE type of block per biome
-Can only slaughter ONE type of animal per biome
-Cannot build ANYTHING during day, but can collect
-Can only build at night, no collecting at night
-You MUST use all of the block you picked to harvest
-You can only be in one biome per day, i. e. you must be in new biome before about noon
-You have to leave your house as soon as day breaks the next day
To advance: Visit 5 biomes, plus 1 "Bronze" Trophy on Tylerthe41's achievements list.
-Can only use wooden tools.
-Can only slaughter one animal per biome.
-In addition to chosen material, can harvest 10 logs for ENTIRE stage, i. e. you can only harvest 10 logs for tools to last you this stage of challenge
Prerequisites: Visit 5 biomes, plus 1 "Bronze" Trophy.
To advance: Visit 10 biomes, plus 3 "Bronze" Trophys and 1 "Silver" Trophy.
-Can only use wooden and stone tools.
-Can only slaughter two animals per biome.
-In addition to chosen material, can harvest 32 cobblestone blocks for ENTIRE stage.
Prerequisites: Visit 10 biomes, plus 3 "Bronze" and 1 "Silver" Trophy
To advance: Visit 15 biomes, plus 5 "Bronze", 3 "Silver" and 1 "Gold" trophy.
-Can only use Iron and Stone tools
-Can only slaughter three animals per biome.
-In addition to chosen material, can harvest 30 iron ores and smelt in furnace. NOTE: Harvesting iron can be done in its own day, i. e. you take one day to harvest as much iron until you find 30 ores. NOTE 2: You MUST use 9 iron to make an iron block, and keep it in your inventory permanently.
Prerequisites: Visit 15 biomes, plus 5 "Bronze", 3 "Silver", and 1 "Gold" Trophy.
To advance: Visit 20 biomes, plus 10 "Bronze", 5 "Silver", 3 "Gold", and 1 "Platinum" trophy.
-Can only use Gold and Iron tools
-Can only slaughter four animals per biome
-In addition to chosen material, can harvest 15 gold ores and smelt in furnace. NOTE: Read Iron "NOTE". NOTE 2: You MUST use 9 gold to make a gold block, and keep it in your inventory permanently.
Prerequisites: Visit 20 biomes, plus 10 "Bronze", 5 "Silver", 3 "Gold", and 1 "Platinum" trophy.
To advance: Visit 25 biomes, plus 15 "Bronze", 10 "Silver", 5 "Gold", 3 "Platinum", and 1 "Diamond" Trophy. If you cannot complete a diamond achievement because they are very difficult, you may instead complete 5 extra "Silver" Trophies.
-Can only use Iron and Diamond tools
-Can only slaughter five animals per biome
-In addition to chosen material, can harvest 15 diamonds. NOTE: Read Iron "NOTE". NOTE 2: Read previous "NOTE 2"s. NOTE 3: If you need extra time, i. e. extra days, to harvest diamond, you may take it.
Prerequisites: Visit 25 biomes, plus 15 "Bronze", 10 "Silver", 5 "Gold", 3 "Platinum", and 1 "Diamond" Trophy. If you cannot complete a diamond achievement because they are very difficult, you may instead complete 5 extra "Silver" Trophies.
To advance: Complete a pedestal using the Iron, Gold, and Diamond blocks you have previously created. Upon finishing, you have the option of completing the Bonus Stage.
-MUST create pedestal in new biome.
Prerequisites: Complete the pedestal detailed in the Final Stage.
To advance: Harvest enough Emeralds to craft an Emerald block, and add it to your pedestal. You can mine these, or trade from a village. There is no time limit in this stage.
-Cannot collect any blocks aside from mining cobblestone to get Emeralds
-Cannot slaughter any animals
-Upon completeing the pedestal, you MUST save your game, and post a screenshot on this forum post. Along with the shot, list the following:
=How many times, if any, you died
=How many animals you slaughtered
=If you had any extra items in your inventory when you took the screenshot, list them here.
For each time you died, add 5 points.
For each animal you slaughtered, add 2 points.
For each stack/each item in your inventory, add 5 points.
For your score, add all of these together, and this sum is your score. The lower the score, the better.
NOTE: Items like flowers and mushrooms do not count towards your one material for the day. Mushrooms cannot be used for food.
NOTE: In each stage, the secondary material (cobblestone in Stone Age, etc.) can be harvested in any stage as long as you have completed the stage. EX: You can use 10 logs in the Stone Stage, but you cannot use Iron in the Stone Stage.
NOTE: Please leave feedback, I will edit the challenge if there are too many Trophy requirements to complete.
NOTE: Trophies accumulate. i. e. you do not have to do 3 NEW "Bronze" Trophies in the Stone Stage, you must do 3 total.

I know the purpose of this thread genious. I was joking if you don't get it. Look at the grammar I used, seriously.
Edit : Btw, thanks captain obvious
Sadly, too many people use that actual grammar so it was kinda hard to tell the point you were stressing xD I apologize for calling you stupid, good sir.

That's the purpose of this thread...to make buildings that look like **** and play them up. Now, thanks to your stupidity, I'm going to get a million "thanks, Captain Obvious!"s. Thanks dude, just thanks.
Aug 13, 2012I actually just got an idea...lately, I've been having a pretty hard time with my ideas and such, and this thread gave me a jolt. A world filled with dirt huts, wool hovels, sand houses, and then if I really get into it, make entire forts and stuff. I'm serious, this would be really fun to do legit!Posted in: Survival Mode
