Well since i can't find my reply about how my friend got it to work on 1.6.4.......guess I'll make another one.
As it turns out, he didn't use any of the code for this mod. Basically used it as a model. He rebuilt this mod from the start.
Basically, he took the base idea and tried to make the same thing from scratch.
I did find out he was doing this as a test to know how mods like this work. He has done this with several other mods, just to know how to do it. He said he is not putting those mods that he remade up anywhere, and the only reason he gave some to me was just to test them and see how well he put them together.

No offence people spamming with similar messages, but it is ridiculous at this point. Obviously it is being worked on, and it will be done when its done. Calm down internet, and be patient even though its hard. Believe me, I know its hard to wait.

Eventually, the folder mine was in got corrupted, and his computer got an accidental Mountain Dew shower from his cousin.
WE BOTH FREAKING LOST IT.
He managed to do it with help from our ROP Video Game Design teacher at our high school, who is familiar with the type of coding Minecraft runs on.
That was a crazy adventure he was just on, that I guess the goal just wasn't meant to be.
As a side note, my friend said that he will be working on his own mod.....as soon as he gets an idea.

I realized something today (today being 1/18/2014)..... Why can't the big mod makers make the API together instead of waiting? Yes, you heard me. Why can't the modding community make the API? I see nothing wrong with that at all.
Come on people! The big mod makers of Terraria are making an API... why can't we? Terraria is doing it! TERRARIA!!!! It's not even backed by the creators of the game!!!

I have been trying to find a modded role playing server lately.
It HAS to have mods because I get bored with vanilla Minecraft easily.
I need one with a good community, not too big or too small. (Preferably, some form of voice chat, such as TeamSpeak or Mumble, but that doesn't matter too much. I would like voice chat, but it is not needed.)
I would like it more if it was timed in the past, but that isn't too necessary (just as long as they allow me to "use" magic through typing.) I would also like it if I can choose what race to be, as I do have something in mind, but if not, oh well.
