Hey, i had this problem too, i bought the physical game on the 16th of dec, and i played for over 30hours, and bought Adventure Time DLC, i kept getting the prompt when starting the game, that i would get the free one but the page it took me too kept charging me the 19.99,
i contacted Xbox Support, gave them a screenshot of the minecraft message that says i get the free version, and they saw i dowloaded a dlc, but i also took a screenshot of my playtime in case they asked.
Xbox ended up buying the game for me on xbl, so then it showed up as "owned"and i downloaded it.
dunno how common that course of action is for them... but contact them before the 30th
