I really like this suggestion! The only complaint I have is that this would require you to kill Griffins to use; I don't think that is how it should be.

Please add an alternative recipe that doesn't use drops from the Griffin. Otherwise, this is an awesome suggestion! +1

From what I interpret (is this the right word? idk),

it's like water currents in mob grinder, but without water.

    (And that fan in mods...)

    I mean, a 1m x 1m fan can't rly push a ~0.5m x 0.5m x 0.5m silverfish, so this should be the same as a 1m x 1m x 2m zombie.

However, it does make mob farms much easier.

On the other hand, I think chicken feather is enough. At least feather has 1 more usage... Haha

I agree with the other two, however I'm not sure chicken feathers are hard enough to get!

Why don't you just make a resource pack with the old textures? It's not that hard, and rps can be incorporated into clients and servers, so map-making wouldn't be a problem.

What about the other versions of Minecraft, when the wool-changing update comes out. Still though, the idea has a few kinks to work out. Support: 75%

posted a message on 100 Challenges

Let's face it: I hate survival Minecraft. Though, recently, I loaded up a survival world and tried to play. Currently I've made a Nether portal but not gathered the resources given from it yet. However, I haven't played this world for at least a month, and every time I load it, I get bored and exit it right away. I really like the idea of challenges for survival, but every video I've watched so far disappoint. So, I turned to the forum. Each person an submit 3 or less (I want variety from different points of views) challenges. My goal is 100, but if you go over, that's fine. Here's 1 to start:

    1. You can only venture out of a cave/shelter at night

Now, the first person to reply will do #2 or more. Thanks!

posted a message on Can Anyone Help Me?

I love Minecraft Console. I've been playing Minecraft Wii U about since it came out. And even though I love building cities, houses, pixel art and so on, I've found that making your own minigames is one of the most fun things you can build in the game. And even with the addition of Battle, Tumble and Glide on the consoles, I still enjoy making my own minigames.

My minigame worlds usually are normally generated worlds that are not superflat, with a lobby at the center where I tell the people who join my world all about the minigames and me, the creator. Usually, 5 to 8 friends join the world, and games become to the point where they are insanely hard to play because the people are crazy and I find myself yelling at them to "Don't take that!", "Go to survival!", "Follow me!", "Is everyone ready!?". It makes me super frustrated and really mad, and usually I kick them all with burning anger.

I'm planning to create another minigame world, the style still a generated non-superflat world with boxes for minigame walls and pathways connecting each minigame to the lobby/spawnpoint. My goal is to make this world so that I can have my game chat off and give my friends all privileges without having to take those privileges off. I should also not have to look over them. Finally, if any materials are taken for the minigame, they can be returned automatically with a hopper system. I know this sounds insane, but please throw some ideas out for me. These are some minigames I will probably put into the world:
    -Survival Games

    -PVP

-Build Battle (This does not need to be cleaned up, I can destroy this one manually)

    Thanks in advance- Skulldeath50

(Note: If this is impossible, at least try to give me some tips to make it easier)

posted a message on Let pets carry the Totem of Undying

I don't know, I don't think pets are useful enough to warrant them an entire new feature. I don't usually use dogs in survival, or at least practically, but when I do I breed hundreds of them. So if one dies, I'll just get another one, and it's not that big of a deal. They're more of a tool to me than an actual companion. (Call me a heartless monster all you want, but I don't get attached to pixels and sound effects.) Also, why would you even give it to your pets? Sure, you can only use one at a TIME. but if you have multiple, you can cheat death multiple times. Your pet doesn't need or deserve one, while for the player, it's incredibly valuable and you should hoard them instead of giving it to something that will probably die anyway. (Again, call me a heartless monster all you want.)

Exactly my point. Why waste something very useful for something you can literally make again with only bones or fish. I can see why you came up with this idea, but it's not worth it.

posted a message on Mixable Potions

    I support this, if:

    • Strong potions (ie: Strength II) aren't an option
    • Mixing a potion reduces the duration by about 25 percent

These are in place to stop people from making Poison/Harming potions to get as much damage as possible from a potion. It also makes them a sidegrade instead of a straight upgrade. You can make a strength 1 and regeneration 1 potion if you want to drink it before getting into combat, but it will have it's duration capped and you can't get a level two potion effect.

Great idea. This fixes the argument that it's overpowered. Thanks for helping!

This would be severely overpowered. Brew a regeneration and instant health 2 potion, and live forever. Brew a poison and instant damage 2 potion, and everything would die. Brew a swiftness 2 and jump boost 2 potion, and nothing could catch you.

I see no way for this to work, really.

It's understandable, but these potions would be very hard to get unless you yourself are already OP. But, I still agree with you completely. I think that you showed me these are not meant for survival mode, but could they still be useful in creative? And what if the game became much more challenging? Thanks for pointing that out.

posted a message on Minecraft Update Idea: The Cave Update
    Quote from Cerroz»

The idea was going perfectly well until I got to this. We shouldn't mess with ores because of an opinion you have. Ores are fine the way they are, let's just leave them be. What you're talking would probably annoy some veteran players while bogging down the progress of newer players.

I support everything heavily except the ores part.

I agree with Cerroz. Personally, I find diamonds really hard to find. I've been spending the last month trying to find enough diamonds for two full sets of diamond armor. Also, I really like the ideas of mob behavior. I feel that in Minecraft, mobs could become less boring if they had specific behavior in different parts of your world. If there isn't any threads on that already, I suggest someone reading this (or I may beat you to it) elaborate on that.

posted a message on Mixable Potions

(I own Minecraft Wii U Presently, remember that as you read)

When I started playing the game in (give or take) early 2014, my favorite part of the game was potions. The fact that you could drink or throw something and it suddenly added an effect to the player seemed pretty cool to me. But recently, I've found that potions are getting a little bit dull. Most people have used the same potions so many times, they know them by heart. Also, I personally, think that potions are a waste in Minecraft survival, as they are hard to obtain (some of them) and don't pay off very well. It seems like we could get better bang for our buck. Finally, this idea came to mind when I was thinking about witches in movies and books: they usually combine potions. So, I thought I might take a stab at this idea.

Let's get straight to the point: I think you should be able to combine potions in Vanilla Minecraft. Like if for some reason you wanted to have a PVP match where all the players had splash potions of harming and swiftness so once a player got hit, they could have a good chance of escaping. If this update existed, this would be possible in survival without commands.

You put your three or less potions in the slots at the bottom of the brewing stand, along with another at the top. Make sure you have blaze powder as fuel, and everything works as if it was normal. You can combine up to four combine-able potions. Some potions you can not combine, such as different types of potions (splash and lingering), water bottle or dragon's breath.. After you combine the four or less potions, a new potion in the middle slot at the bottom row will appear, the texture a mix of the potions you mixed. (Bless 4J's souls) Also, if you scroll over your newly acquired potion, you will see the potions put into the name, power of the potion (such as II) included. Almost as if you name tagged it. The same works in your hot-bar if you scroll over it.

Most attributes of the mixed potions are the same. Non-stack able, non-place able (except in item frames) and so on. Also, when you throw or drink the potion, all of the powers hit you at once. (I can see some bugs at this part) The powers also stay their designated time, so some effects may drop of quicker than others, or the effects might come off all at once. The potions would not be added to the creative menu, such as dyed leather armor. Finally, some of these potions could be added to the mob witch's arsenal.

I believe this would be a great change for survival minecraft, (because command blocks in creative can give you effects all at once) but, if you have any reason to criticize this idea, make sure it has a suggestion attached. Thanks!

The village idea was originally just to add the builder; I discussed much more with people years back but sadly this was all I could remember.

I never thought of the builders making stuff for the player, Acknid was the one who raised the question in the air. And I will admit, it is a question that needed to be asked.

Oh, well in your case you did all you could. IN fact, I'm in the drafts of coming up with a mob also. I may need your help, so if there is a private message in your inbox, don't be surprised.
