I've never used paint.net, so I don't know.
But if it acts all alike the normal Paint, then no. Paint doesn't save transparency, as far as I know.
You could try minershoes, as an alternative. It's a website that lets you edit your skins online, no need for downloading anything.
You can delete the white bits there.
OK I went to minersshoes and uploaded my skin, but how do I delete the whit parts there?
You edited your skin with a program that doesn't save transparency, did you?
The solution is fairly simple: In the "headwear" or "helm" spaces in the skin template, you just need to go and delete all the unwanted white parts.
I suggest downloading and using McSkin3D, it's a good program, and also very intuitive.
Couldn't I go into Paint.net and change the transparency? I would do that but i dont know how
I just made my first skin, and there is a problem. I inserted the skin, and everything is right, except now the head is completely white. Now the skin file itself isn't white, and the head is skinned. Can someone please help me fix the "White head thingy"?
I have cracked minecraft (Sorry) and whenever I play a hungergames server, when the game begins and every oone is spawned in one big clump, I get stuck. Is there a way to prevent this?
This may sound nooby, but I am sorta new to MC. I was playing in Creative mode and was in the Nether. I dug all the way to the top of the map and when I got to the top, there was weird creepy noises. Like a child was crying or giggiling. Can someone tell me what it was?
Now you've probably heard this alot, but I looked everywhere andnone fixed the problem. Whenever I try to join a server (And I am typing in the correct IP address) It always says Bad Login. I've tried this with multiple servers, so I know the problem isn't the server it's my computer.
So, do you know how to fix this?
Thanks
(P.S. I've also heard of Hamachi. What is it and do I need it)
Adding to the comment above, the folder that you would put into the saves folder should contain files that are named these:
data (Folder)
region (Folder)
level.dat (Single File)
level.dat_old
session.lock
Ok first of all I hope this is in the right section, if it is in the wrong section could you please move it. (I'm new here)
O.K. so I am kind of new to minecraft and today I wanted to download a map. Now this is the first time I ever tried to install map on minecraft so I looked around for tutorials. I found one and tried it but it didn't work. So heres what exactly I did: (Oh and I'm using XP)
So first I went and downloaded a map and then extracted it using WinRAR.
Then I typed in %appdata% in the start menu
After that I drug the map that I just extracted and placed it in the saves folder in .minecraft
After that I booted up Minecraft and I looked in for the map and it wasn't there!
