Yes that's all I get, my server shows I am connected and then I disappear and it says disconnect.genericReason

But for my game it just says logging in.. the whole time until it finally says timed out. so I never really get in.

The server just says:
[INFO] SirLucky [/173.180.33.252] logged in with entity id 5706
[INFO] SirLucky lost connection: disconnect.genericReason

and the games says:
"connection lost: timed out"


I can connect through "local host" but if I try to connect by ip I get that problem. I need to be able to connect by ip otherwise nobody else can play but me.

Bump, no idea why it doesn't work. I can use third party server programs but I have no idea how to set them to survival mp. I just want to get the default one working but it seems it was coded poorly

Nod32 is my anti-virus, I tried with it off still didn't work, and "server-ip=" is blank.

Anyone know why it is doing this? even when she tries to connect it will say she is in the server in console but her game will just say "logging in" until she gets the connection lost message. :sad.gif:

ya my windows firewall is completely off and my 25565 port is open, but I keep getting this I can connect by localhost but I want my girlfriend or others to be able to connect through the net but I get that error.

Lol that would be cool. I can't wait for more development on the game, having tons of fun already. What would really make me happy though would be to have minecraft on steam.

Ah I see, so keys are determined when bought not redeemed that's good. dec 10th huh? hmm he's not sure he says he thinks he bought it before then but oh well. Time will tell. Loving the game so far :biggrin.gif:

So I heard that anyone that got an Alpha account will get any update/expansions free. When I found that out it kinda made me sad that I'd have to get a beta account. But a friend of mine gave me a gift of minecraft key that he said he bought before december 20th. I just registered it now and I am absolutely LOVING the game. My question though is that would my Account be considered and Alpha or Beta account? and is there anyway to check?
