How crazily cynical people are on the internet, you wouldn't even think it were possible for a human to have a positive attitude when you read most forums.
I've gotten OCD around 5 years ago where I would see things like uneven and it would drive me crazy... The first picture was torture to me
That's not OCD. OCD is shutting a door 12 times every time you go to close it, checking that you have your car in your garage over and over: things that completely defy logic yet you are utterly compelled to carry them out.
I wasn't suggesting anyone had to be perfect in spelling/grammar. The point I was trying to get across is that forum posts are an expression of one's opinion, so why, if one has had a complete eduction (which many people on these forums have not seeing as many of them are still quite young), would anyone hinder the strength of their opinion with silly mistakes? I would never call anyone out if they make a few spelling errors, but if the post is illegible when the author is fully capable of knowing better, I think that's somewhat inexcusable.
You have no way of knowing if the author is fully capable of 'knowing better', so you cannot formulate an opinion of a user over the internet, can you?
Yes, but my parents and teachers have high expectations for me and personally, I wish to become very skillfull in all my subjects. My goal isnt just to have 100% A's in everything, it is to be able to use and apply everything my teachers give me. To master the skills and utillize the knowlege that my teachers give me to expert level. If my teachers show me how to make a bohr model of an element or how to balance a chemical equation I wish to do it perfectly or very accuratly. If im not, then Im not utillizing the free education I receive (paid for by hard working citizens) to the fullest and Im just wasting my time. You may think this as absurd but im most happy when I learn and apply what I learn, so Im really fuflilling my main goal in life, being happy.
Great attitude. However, get some perspective. Education is not your entire life. How's your social life? (I don't mean this rudely). Maybe instead of trying to improve at school, improve at something else that may also be of benefit.
Me and a few mates are planning on buying a heap of different varieties of juice, mixing them together and seeing if we can make an awesome tropical flavour drink.
Best case scenario: We make an awesome flavour and sell it. (unrealistic)
Worst case scenario: We make bad flavours have fun mixing cool stuff together.
From the many back and forth arguments about Mac vs Windows, the one thing I just can't overlook is the price. I simply can't. For me, and I would wager for most, it is economically infeasible to spend so much on a computer when you can get the same thing specs wise for a lower price. Yes you could argue that you prefer it, yes the OS might be more to your taste, or the keyboard is shinier or whatever, but for a person like myself a disgustingly large premium that you pay for an Apple product means that no matter how fantastic they are or ever claim to be, they will never be a choice for me.
Now that summer holidays are coming where I live, the discussion of where to go for holidays happens in my family. We look around for stuff to do, but we have gone to too many places and we ran out of ideas to where to go.
We usually look around the Caribbean and go in the begining of February. Before anyone suggests taking a cruise ship, we done way too many of those. My father suggested to go to Cartagena de Indias in Colombia. After looking some stuff in there, 3 of 6 people in my family disagreed with it. He suggested it because he feels like taking a good rest in the beach, but I'm rather "beach-phobic" (I hate them). I looked around to other good places. Miami, been 5 times there. Dominican Republic, too overpriced. Mexico, even worse. Cuba, hell no. Small islands, been to all of the good ones and no one wants to stay at them.
I looked around to see some other stuff. I usually prefer "exotic" places. I looked the price for tickets to South Africa, 1200 dolars, but 1 person thinks its extremely dangerous because of wild animals (and also said that there are black people. I cracked up at that). Then I looked for French Polinesia, but its extremely expensive. After, I looked to Hawaii. Nothing suits my time (begining of February).
So, anyone got any good ideas? All of my family is asking me if I know a good place, but I just don't have any.
Try going somewhere with a little more 'culture', different to what you're used to. Try Japan or Malaysia.
ITT: Young adolescents telling the world they hate people in general, everyone is stupid, they are the smartest kid ever and they will never find love.

Lighten up, it's almost like we're being trolled by mainstream music. It's hilarious!

Either scenario is fun, any ideas for flavours?
