About Me

I am a 16 year-old living in Sacramento, CA. I joined the Minecraft community on August 17th, 2013, and the Forums on September 9th, 2014. Some of you may have known me on the forums as KlockKid12Jr, though I changed my name to what it is now. If you want to play on a server or something with me, please, don't hesitate to ask.

How I found out about (and later joined) minecraft, for those who care: My first exposure to minecraft came when I was 11; I was obsessed (to the point of them being all I really thought about) with clocks. I saw a video about a grandfather clock made in minecraft (from what I can remember, s/he just made a model; it wasn't working). I decided I didn't really like minecraft.

Fast forward around 2 months later, my sister had started watching a Youtuber by the name of Stampylonghead. I watched a video with her, and I saw what you can really do in Minecraft. I started watching more of his videos; pretty soon, I was obsessed (not to the point of how I was with clocks, but enough to get my mom to notice). On my 12th birthday, August 16th, 2013, my mom took me to the Gamestop near where we lived and got me a gift code for minecraft. I officially registered later that night (some time after midnight) on the 17th, with the name KlockKid12 (Klock from my obsession with clocks that was still rampant at the time, and Kid12 from the fact I had just turned 12.)

(Oddly enough, even though she found out about MC before I did, my sister didn't get her own account until 2 years after I did, although only because I asked my mom to buy her one.)

Interests

My favorite music artists include Electric Light Orchestra, The Beatles, Elton John, War, The Doors, Supertramp, George Harrison, and Queen. My favorite games include Pokemon, Kirby, Yo-Kai Watch, and Minecraft (obviously). I've always had a thing for computers and intend to build one of my own one day. I have a soft spot for clocks, oddly enough (and I mean old, mechanical clocks, not the shite-y quartz clocks we have today.) I really like to hoard notebooks for some reason (I have about 40 in my bookshelf right now). Most of the time they'll get written in once and then never get used again, but once in a while I will get some inspiration and write something in them. For me, there's just something really satisfying about having all that paper; all that potential knowledge waiting to be created.
