    Jesus... so I tried this.. found a nice big tree with lots of branches... but it was a small walk away from my dry starting point.

    After a few days I root over to a BIG pitfall that is a cave on the bottom. I decide to take my stone from here, and root into the side of the pit and sleep. Nearby, I also found a lava lake I was trying to get to using roots. So nightfall comes around and I decide to stay up fighting skeletons for their bones, shouldn't be so bad. I want to grow some more trees in my tree.

    I stay up, walking around on one of my roots. I finally see a skeleton, I manage to kill him and when I turn around, a creeper blows me to hell. After a walk back at night, I get my stuff but lose my sword.

    Two skeletons this time, no creepers. Both skeletons shot me to death and I fall again 10 seconds after getting my stuff. Third time now, I walk back, knowing the way by heart in the dark. And once I arrive to take my stuff, I decide I just want to go to sleep in the side of the pit. As I walk over to the edge of the pit, about to enter my little home, I get shot by a skeleton that sends me to the bottom.

    THATS when I decided to just redo this challenge from scratch. lol......

    I still dont get it.. If you're only supposed to get your recourses from 1 block away from the tree, then how are people getting recourses from further? And what if you dont find anything under your tree? .... This is confusing.

    WOW! That's awesome!! I love seeing stuff from other people :smile.gif: . Unfortunately, I've been busy with a little ***** called life. And I have been meaning to update, and this helps motivate me to do so soon! There might be a big revamp of the texture pack, to make it a little cleaner and less noisier in some areas.. not sure yet. Thanks for the awesome screens, loved them.

    What to finish first?

    (a) Cows , Pigmen , Wolves , New Ghasts , Tweaked Pigs

    (:cool.gif: Art

    (c) Tweaking terrain such as diamond block change, and biome color change, and hatch.

    (d) 1.6 stuff like map, grass, dead shrubs.

    (e) Achievements and Statistics Logos and Sprites.

    I'm glad you like it!! I'll definitely mess around with the biome colors and see what I can do about the green. But one thing, keep an eye out, if you haven't already, there are small random splotches of trees with very autumn/red colored leaves. It's pretty cool! :smile.gif:

    Thanks for the feedback. I took that into consideration before when I first made the diamond that way, and I still like the idea regardless of the inaccuracy of the idea. You can manually switch the diamond with my alternate one provided in the terrain.png if you'd like. Otherwise, I'll be sure to make it clear when I add another diamond option in the future!! :smile.gif:

    The only thing I have to say, based on only what I've seen in your two pictures is, don't take the gold theme too literally. For example, if you want to make things more golden, they don't necessarily have to look like gold. It can be things like more yellow hue added to the textures, or maybe even making everything have an autumn feel to it.

    My pack is using the red theme instead of gold. So I decided to take rubies and make them sort of the mascot of the pack. Rubies can be found throughout the pack in various items and textures, and not only that, but there is a slight red hue to my textures. But it's not too much (at least I don't think so) :smile.gif:. Hope it helps!

    I asked a trusted friend and I'm going to go with brown/red spots on white cow.
    As for spider, I will try albino first, and if I don't like it, I'll do the other.

    You're welcome to use the picture as reference to make your own, or you can wait till I release it and download it. Maybe I'll use that logo as the final one.. :smile.gif:
    I was just playing around with the logo at first, not sure if I'll use that yet.
