A week ago, I just started playing Gmod and so far it's really fun! I really like using addons from the workshop. However while I'm playing, it freezes and then just closes with no error message. I'm thinking it was some of my addons so I unsubscribed ( yeah I know there's a disable button) to the ones I felt like was doing it, however it still does it sometimes. I can't really enjoy the addons now that I'm worrying about this. There may be something else causing it. When it crashes, I get a message from the desktop menu bar saying 1280x800 is not recommended for my system. Is it my resolution I have on Gmod? Some people also say it just crashes naturally especially if you have a lot of addons but, I Don't have many installed. My computer is a Windows Vista 32-bit Laptop (Gmod hardly lags). Thats all I know. What's causing Gmod to do this? I'm really puzzled here.

I've have recently built an auto firing dispenser using redstone comparators. When a mob steps on the pressure plate the signal is sent to the comparator were It creates a constant redstone pulse and fires the dispenser each time it receives a pulse. I also camouflaged it with some vines and some leaf blocks to make it look hidden. It works great. It takes mobs out within a few arrows if they step on thepressure plate.
I'm just mining in an underground ravine and all of a sudden a creeper spawns right in front of me and blows up. I survived the blast, but that startled me a bit.
I found out what the noise was. I was fighting an enderman and I heard it again. So I watched enderman sounds on YouTube and there it was. It turned out to be the enderman's stare sound in which people find it a bit disturbing.
In my opinion, it's the parents and the child's decision that has shaped some of these kids today's. Instead of teaching them to do chores, they hand them COD or an iPhone and let them do what ever the heck they want. They'll choose to do the same thing all day, and stay up late because their parents don't care and they want to keep doing it. Once they get tired of it, they'll beg for more games that are like COD. My parents don't allow that. In our house hold, work comes before fun. I do the dishes, take out the trash, mow the lawn, do my homework, feed the dogs, and fold clothes. Once that's done, then I can do whatever. I sometimes ride my bike, practice drawing, watch TV, read a book, and some gaming. I'm not on an electronic 24/7 all the time because I choose to. I don't play COD because my parents don't allow it and I choose not to play it anyway. If I did, then I won't be as smart as I am today and possibly become a COD fanboy. Parents just need to watch what games there buying for there kids. Games like Super Mario and other E Rated games are ok as long as the parents don't let them play it 24/7. 5 year olds just don't need to be playing COD or any other M rated games. There too young for these games. They can throw there lives away to video games, or they can live a better life like getting outside and limiting games.
And no, I'm not saying video games or COD is bad. If you play too much of it or you obsess over it, then yes it's not good for you.
I'm not saying I'm 100% correct, it's just my opinion.
Eh, iv'e never been a real fan of the X series...I prefer the classic series.
While the classic series is all bright and colorful, the X series is a bit dark, gloomy, and has a more serious plot. It gets real depressing during X5 and X6. That's normally the reason why people prefer the classic series than the X series. I like the X series because it as a good plot to it and its music. But the classic is still a really good series.
I would say that any character from the X series has a very slim chance of making it into the new Super Smash Bros.
Let's not forget the music! Nintendo sure made it out with this one. Here's to hoping that Mega Man gets more good games after SSBB 4.
Mega Man 2 Dr. Wily stage 1 FTW! I really hope new Mega Man games come out. It would be really awesome if they made Mega Man X9, but I doubt it will happen.
But seriously... It's odd that the game has 2 sets of those cave sound files. Did you update the game since the time you removed the files? Perhaps the game redownloaded them with the update.
No they are in 2 separate folders in the resource folder. Newsound and sound3 I didn't update my game, I just didn't replace the 2nd set of cave noises.
Oh, and I hate to be a Grammar Nazi but you spelled "pronunciation"
Yeah when I was trying to spell it but I missed spelled it at first, so I tried using the auto correct but it couldn't find a replacement, so I erased part of it and it found "prononsiation" as a replacement and I guess I was not paying attention when I clicked on it. So my bad XD.
