Too bad that it won't make the game any harder, just more of a grind. It's very difficult for zombies to even hit you, as slow as they move. Even a group of zombies is simplicity itself to kite around. All it will do is cause it to take longer to kill mobs. It doesn't make them smarter or faster; - Even with a diamond sword, you just have to not be hit. And that's a very easy thing to do.
(I still love the Nether, however, because ghasts are a good example of how mobs should be. Difficult, frustrating, cheap and, most importantly, deadly.)
Honestly, mobs could use a pretty serious buffs. Give them some powerful abilities; - Zombies able to sprint for short durations and climb walls, spiders shooting out slowing and poisoning webs, creepers camouflaging with the terrain, skeletons being able to snipe you from a long distance...I suppose that mods can fix Minecraft to make it actually difficult, but I prefer vanilla as it is. Hack, Slash Mine is pretty good, though.
On-topic: This is amazing. Superb. Spectacular. I love mazes, and this just takes the cake. I love Tower Defenses as well (Warcraft 3!), so this...Damn.

Why do you want to join OUR server? (2 Sent. Min.): Because I can't fit in anywhere else. I'm not a builder, nor much of a fighter, so people seem to think I can't contribute. It's quite silly really, because I can contribute. As it should be obvious, I like trade. Buying low, selling high, it's what I like to do. I think I'd fit in this server, due to my love of role-play and my hatred of simple "Build build build" servers.

Any other information you would like us to know about you: I won't be playing often, could be once a day, once a week, or once a month. Mainly because I have limited internet access, but when I play, I get deeply engrossed. I'm well versed in Role-Play, though I don't like always being in RP. I like being silly sometimes, but the extent to that would probably be practical jokes. Harmless, just like fake pressure plates, note blocks under houses, etc. I once made, and managed a massive 30 player town. 30 regulars, with another dozen on-and-off people. I can usually buddy up with people and admins, it's actually quite a mystery. Considering I'm a loser IRL, I seem to do well in the Minecraft World. But, yes, don't expect me to play often. I remember a post where a guy called another guy something along the lines of a faggy woman something-or-other, and the guy replied that he was a (Very derogatory language), and Guy #1 was "Warned", because he was the OP and was ranting against notch...
Meh. If you want to just see a REALLY nice game forums, Go to the Dwarf Fortress one. First thread I made hit 9 pages in a week, all full of thorough, helpful answers to my questions. It's iun the "Dwarf Fortress Gameplay Questions" section, thread titled "Dwarf Fortress...What?"
If I asked the same things pertaining to minecraft, I would receive:
