    I remember the days of late alpha (The time I had purchased the game) and minecraft was fresh and new to me. There were derpy pigs and cows merrily swimming in the ocean, there were no white trees to contrast with the forest, there was biome compliant side-grass, and there was a difficulty in the beginning only to be fixed by coal. Updates after that point brought bug-fixes and rain and wolves. Minecraft remained creative and adventure oriented. Then 1.0.0 came and made it an adventure game with the availability of creative aspects, and that ruined it for me. I don't like having to take time out of my creating to go kill things to eat and I don't like the strongholds getting in the way of my underground operations. IMO Notch didn't kill the game he only wounded it.

    Wow, that sounds like a corrupt download or something. Do you have WinRAR or something that you could open the zip file with? if so you should check the corresponding files and see if they are white. Either way I would attempt to re-download the .zip file and re-install the pack. First make sure to uninstall the old one by deleting the bin file.

    allright I checked to see if it was a currupt download by checking if each previously mentioned .png was white and to my surprise they weren't so I thought it was the patcher so I repatched it (after force updating minecraft) and when I looked at the patcher's log it said "###########GL ERROR############ 1281:Invalid value" about four times any more help?

    I''ve tried each version of the pack and other high res packs (up to 264) and no problem but bordercraft does this.
    I've also tried the fan 32x pack version and i know I've had no problem with 32x packs before so some one please help because this is a huge effing problem.

    can someone help me ive installed this pack with latest MCpatcher and ive used it on my laptop before but when i play it now and go into singleplayer i play for a second then the screen goes dark is ther any way i can fix this because i love this pack sooo much ( so much so is that it looks more like home to me then my house ). also ive used other high resolution packs before even 264x264 and i haven't had this problem i will miss this pack if i can never use it again "sobs weakly at the thought"

    This pack doesn't work for me. when the patcher patches it and i hit test minecraft and play singleplayer it white screens. If i'm not in the patcher and i click singleplayer from the minecraft.exe it shows the world for a second then black screen.

    So confused. I patched my minecraft stuff happened on the log and it finished. I test minecraft and click mods and textures (because that's the only folder I saw with textures written on it) But when I select a texture it still gives me default except for when I select a texture pack that has previously crashed my minecraft with white screens for worlds but it still white screens me now. Am I missing something
