    What I've found so far:
the little swirl effect when you have a potion effect on you, would be a nice addition rather than default http://prntscr.com/2bchhg
    the text in menu/number's on item's are still default http://prntscr.com/2bcemx & http://prntscr.com/2bcf93
mellon stocks are default, but pumpkin stocks arnt. http://prntscr.com/2bce5a
Jungle biome grass could use a bit of a darkening in my opinion http://prntscr.com/2bcft6
Maybe a new texture for charcoal? http://prntscr.com/2bcgdg
the minecart with tnt/hopper could also use a new texture http://prntscr.com/2bcgwu
    The Fish aswell http://prntscr.com/2bch3r

& since it's possible to change the music now on music disc's, why not?

Love this pack so much, to me, this is what default texture's should have been! =P

Awesome! Thanks for the help. Most of those look like some quick fixes. I'll get right on that.

just a little feedback the birch leaves are messed up

edit: and the compass and clock are broken

edit: and im just gonna assume you already know of the non textured default stuff so i wont mention those thought i should help if you didnt know about the birch and clocks

Leaves I'm aware about. I'm going to update the link for the compass/clock issue. I forgot to place the mcmeta files that fixed them into it. That would be my mistake.

    Thanks for notifying me. =)

Link should be updated now with those fixes.

Getting there. Almost ready for you guys to play around with it. I will upload it in a bit.

It will only be in x256 for now. It'll hopefully be completely ready with everything finished within a week.

One little thing is that i'd love for the signs to be a bit clearer, easier to read without having to have my face mashed up against them. I'm sure it's harder than it sounds but if you are already overhauling the gui, perhaps that could be looked at too. I have been using your pack exclusively since 2012, my other flings with photorealistic packs( like faerie's i mentioned) always left me feeling like there was something lacking.

Long story short, nothing compares to your beautiful work. :)

I've already added signs to my todo list. Hopefully those will be ready as well when I fully release.

    Packed ice.

I've got to tweak the edges and colors a bit and the orchid should be about ready.

I can't wait to see the blue orchids! Bright blue is my favorite color so I hope they are a nice stand out rich bright medium blue color, not washed out and pale. <3

what is left to do on top of the other things you listed?

Have you seen faerie's photo realism pack? I only bring this up because her birch trees 'pop' or seem to stand out alot. maybe you could make the birches a little more...something...haha :)

They will pop out fairly nice in the environment. =)

I've got a ton of icon work to do as well as GUI. I want to also work on the biome colors with the new biome system that has been implemented. I wish to blend them more seamlessly and realistically.

I've looked into the pack and it seems they have a ways to go on improving seamless textures as well as tweaking the colors for a more fluid and organic world.
That being said, the birch texture you mentioned is far more stylized than it is in our world but it does "pop" as you said. =)

Yay! I would still like to help beta-test this. So freaking awesome!

It's an open beta so everyone can help with feedback and find things I may have missed in my checklist.

The Beta will be compatible for the latest version of MC. It will only be

    So far it will have:
    -foliage overhaul
    -hardened clay colors
    -stained glass
    -fixed clock/compass
    -coal block
    -podzol blocks for new biome
    -red sand
    -packed ice
-possibly new leaves/logs. Not many photos in my archive for leaves at the moment.

I've just finished pacifying the clay colors to become more "earth-like". I'll try to get as much done as I can. Expect a release Saturday.

I'll post some screens of the new content up tonight as well.

I don't have a good estimate on a release date yet. I will, however, get a "beta" going pretty quick here so people can atleast play with the new foliage and other blocks that I have finished as I work on everything else.

Alright. Had a rough week with illness and work, but I'm back to working on this. First I'm going to tweak the clay colors a bit to make more realistic and then I'll post more foliage such as the blue orchid.

Sorry for the inactivity the past couple days. I came down with a real bad cold and was sleeping a majority of the time. I'm getting well and I'll see what I can get for everyone today.

I'm going to look into the clay colors and blend them more appropriately and realistically.

Thanks for the heads up on the poppy flowers. I didn't realize they were changed since the name is still called a rose.

I figure I should update everyone on what I've been working on so far.

New rose texture. Needs some cleaning up still around the edges.

Been messing around with glass-like textures to use for stained glasses. This is much more opaque than it will be when ready. I just needed to see how it tiled and looked in block form.

Had a little fun (went a little crazy) with the tall roses. This is NOT the final texture and it needs heavy polishing. I just threw a bunch of the regular rose bushes together and tweaked each of them to look more unique and ended up liking the result so far. I'll finish this one up hopefully soon.

That's quite a long break, haha.

Are you making a pack again or have you been just around the forums?

I don't know if it's on your list or not, but the iron bars texture seems to be a little off. When viewed on the edges, it has little "bits" sticking out, something the default texture and other packs that I've seen don't have. Not sure if they are intentional or a bug but it doesn't look right when you use iron bars without them connected some something else on all edges. Noticed it when I went to make an iron bar fence.

    -snip-

That looks like a crossbar issue. I just need to enlarge the edges to make it work accordingly. I'll add it to my todo list, but no promises this next update. =)

just wanted to pop in and say the update is looking good so far man... happy to see you got a hay texture to work.... that was a huge headache for me...always had too obvious of a tiling issue in the center line of the blocks.

can't wait to see what you come up with for stained glass!

The only snags I'm having so far is the foliage. It's taking hours to extract plants out of images. Especially the new rose plant I'm working on. That's been a trip. =/

I'm torn between a few decisions for stained glass. I'm not sure if I should take the traditional approach with just tinted glass or have detailed designs for each color for people to work with and create things from.

    Thank you!

Still chipping away at it. The list of things left is slowly shrinking though. Won't be much longer.
