The captions of the screens I took that you put in the official gallery, you have it listed as the 256 version. When it's actually your recommended 128. :wink.gif:
Sorry it's the same shot! It's where I was at at the time and was trying something real quick while I had the chance.
Was trying to get a sunset/moonrise in the same shot; but the changing colors of the sky messes up the photomerge in photoshop. So here is just a sunset picture to go with the previous shot. :tongue.gif: Kinda over contrasted but it'll do.
Never enough! Your screenshots are so amazing! The water effect is now perfect! Wonderful! Do you mind if I use them in the "official gallery of the texture pack?
Sure thing! Do with them what you please. Least I can do for such a great pack! Lol
I doubt it's your HDD, I have a 250GB stock HDD, with a 2nd HDD of my old Laptop's HDD. Could be your RAM?
Shouldnt be. Just picked up new ram. 8gb DDR3 1600 and my cpu is an i72600k. Slowly replacing stuff inside my computer kinda as a graduating gift, heh. That's why I'm so confused. GPU is GTX 460 and that should at least be able to FRAPs Minecraft of all things. :/ lol
I edit: LOVE Jolicraft (lol to keep it on topic on Jolicraft!)
Hi ScottJ10!
Could you make another screen like that but with a 3/4view and/or a faceview of the character?
That would be wonderful!
I'll probably download this MOD but have you added a bloom effect in photoshop or it's an ingame shader?
I hope the MOD will also make the water a bit more transparent because currently it's a bit too a mirror than a water surface. :tongue.gif:
I'd love to but I don't think there is a way to get a front view anymore in MC. Also a new version of the watermod is out and I think he reduced the mirror effect a little bit!
And yes I used both photoshop and paint.net on the picture. :smile.gif:
P.S. Your pack is amazing! I'll look around for a compatible mod that might let me have more camera view points.
Also, do you not like better grass? I know your installation guide says not to put it on. :ohmy.gif:
Yeah I run normally past the 100s (without water shader :tongue.gif:) but when I start FRAPs it goes to a crawl. Not sure what the problem could be, my system is good. That's why I pin it to do something with my HDD. Oh well I'll figure it out one day maybe! Thanks for all the help.
It's significant, I think. Minecraft has always been inconsistent for me, heh. Though it doesn't render it unplayable like those cartoony shaders I messed around with did. Lowest I've seen is 55 when looking at a bunch of dirt and trees and what not. I dunno, it goes up and down, lol.
Hopefully that's useful. It's easy enough to install and compare.
Yeah, fraps is a hog (thats what I use as well.) You could try recording a lower resolution. Another thing that helps me is using optifine. Sadly it conflicts with most any other graphic mod out there.
The resolution is probably it. Since i run at 1080 so that's what MC is at. Hmm I'll have to test.
This may not help at all, but one of the things that can mess with a video like that is having different frame rates. If your recording software is recording at one frame rate (say 30 fps) and your video editor is rendering at another (say 24) it will cause the film to be jumpy because the render is attempting to cram all those frames together. (It actually tends to cut frames out.)
Of course this would only happen if you are using video editing software. :biggrin.gif:
Mhm. I think it's FRAPs though and it's performance. Cause it's the jump in frames during gameplay. I know FRAPs is a hog but other people manage to use it. :sad.gif: lol

Cuts FPS about in half.
