I wasn't trying to get on that server I was trying to get onto a different server. Thing is that it's a local ban and it does not show up on my MCban profile, yet admins from other servers can still see it.
Can you send the owner of the server my way so we can further disguise this ? Thanks

Ok well thanks for your opinions everyone. I have messaged the server i was banned on to see what really happened. If that doesn't work I will take it up a step. Again Thanks for the info!

I was recently trying to join a server that wouldn't give me build rights due to being band from another server for Griefing problems. I did some research and found out that there are mods servers install so that they can tell if people have been ban from other servers.
Thing is that not only am I not a griefer and feel insulted being labeled as one, BUT I have never even been on that server yet I have been ban from it.
Not only that but I have heard of people being ban due to admin abuse.
So my question to the community is: Do you think this system is a corrupt way of finding out who is a good or bad minecraft player.
What this program doesn't say is the fact that I have been a dedicated member of this community for a long time now playing minecraft since Classic was the only thing around, since water and lava didn't flow it just filled gaps. It fails to mention that I created a team called Sappa Construction where I go around helping people who were griefed rebuild homes and even spawn points, help servers create communities, build houses and buildings for servers, and much more. The fact that I have been offered Moderator because of my dedication.
And I don't feel like rebuying the game due to a crappy minecraft resume. -SappaZappa

Infact I have a list of servers I played on and all of them have said good things about me. One server wanting me to be a Moderator and the fact that I have this negative and false info fallowing me for something I have not done on a server I have not played on is kind of a pain.
If I could talk to the owner and sort this out that would be great.
