They just don't exactly fit. I think they need a bit of refinement. Possibly reduce the nose one block, extend the head forward one block.
I read through the thread again and there needs to be something like the horse rarity. Every once in a while, you should be able to find an exceptionally powerful cat. Why? Because some of us have exceptionally powerful cats in real life. I'm pretty sure if you have a cat who is 18 and still manages to take down dogs, you'd want to immortalize that. But that's me being selfish.
What about skins? How many do you have planned? There's all sorts of cat colours and again, having colour variations and the like would make cats more appealing, and possibly give you a way to distinguish between exceptional cats, if that idea is accepted.
EDIT: I read through a third time and realize you already had a rare cat planned, though I wouldn't mind a normal looking cat who could do a lot more than a normal one.

I want to suggest time travelers. I think they should always spawn in the desert, be neutral, and look kind of... frazzled and messed up. If you give them some iron bars to get home or whatever, maybe you could get a neat reward? Otherwise, dropping nothing.
Just a suggestion.
My bridge troll idea is still at the top of my head though. :

How hard would it be to make/keep it so everyone tries to kill you and only you? I feel like being hardcore and was wondering if any sort of NIGHTMARE MODE was doable.
EDIT: Oh, and another concern. We're probably going to have to wait longer. Notch hinted (hurr) an update within the week on his Tumblr, it seems, so that'll mean MCP will need to get resorted, along with a lot of the mods.
I know you use 1.2.6 still, I won't bug you about it, I really should think of getting the Optional update launcher, but I haven't, and it's expected by a lot of people that you do update... eventually, whenever.
If MCP gets released again today or whatever (MCP being something I've not looked at at all, so you can totally yell at me for not keeping up), and the update comes tomorrow, that would make a lot of the work for naught.

It did, actually. I wasn't actually trying to incite crap like I've seen a couple people doing here. I could cough and glare, but that's unnecessary and stupid.
Also, the Autistic Minecrafters thing is pretty much a big joke everywhere else. People think that the mechanics pander to autistic traits really easily, therefore the main audience is autistic kids... That's according to big "anus of the internet" type sites. I hope you get that.
