    Heyo again! I'm trying to make a minimalistic shaderpack but have no luck. Can someone make or help me make a shaderpack consisting of only three things? These are Cel Shading, Possibly shadows, Bloom, and maybe waving objects. I've had no luck tweaking Naelgo's cel shaders with bloom, as it's either one or the other with me. All help appreciated

    Yeah I was stupid and found that by myself after I posted that.

    I just posted my first release of my shaders called NSS Shaders. stands for Not So Simple Shaders.

    Alright.


    Is there any way I can enable variable penumbra shadows? I tried messing with Chocapic's VPS, but couldn't get them working inside you're shader's code.


    EDIT: Also (As you may have guessed, I'm new to this), where could I find the water 'murkiness' and color?

    @CaptTatsu; I was thinking, I thought it'd be cool if I could develop a secondary option for your shaders that provide more natural feel to it instead of the bright feel yours has, in courtesy of the people who'd rather have said type of shaders. Just food for thought :)

    Also, your Dual Blur makes custom skies far more blurry. By comparing v3 to v3.6, the sky in v3 is very crisp in clear using custom skies. When I disabled Dual Blur and enabled distant blur, the skies in v3.6 were more crisp and easier to look at. Just informing.

    I was messing with the code of the pack, and ended up with this. I personally think the water I made looks beautiful, with the high reflectivity. I lowered the color boost, however, as it made my custom sky far too bright. As you can see, the bloom makes it still fairly bright, but it's bearable. The colors now feel a little more natural. This is all done on BSL High v36, by the way.Editted the over-all values of the pack
    Also, I edited the code for waving leaves, allowing dark oak and acacia leaves to wave as well. The code changed is in a spoiler below
    adding "#define ENTITY_LEAVES2 161.0" to the ADJUSTABLE VARIABLES enables the waving.

    posted a message on 1.8 Forge with MCPatcher????

    I'm trying to use MCPatcher with Forge (On MultiMC), but I absolutely cannot even find out how to do it on regular Minecraft launcher. It says to choose the new added Forge version in MCPatcher's Game Version, but the only 2 things there are 1.8 and 1.7.10...

    How would I decrease the brightness of the sky, or decrease the bloom power? My custom sky during the day is SUPER bright.

    I see. The FPS hit is probably not recommended for this shader, being hit's a performance shader and not a 'look epic' one.

    Maybe you could add volumetric clouds as an option? I like using Cel Version, and I personally have a decent PC, and would be epic to see volumetric clouds!'


    Also, is it possible to have Soft Shadows and/or true SSAO or HBAO+?
