no error message, other than the servers not connecting. The funny thing is that when I try connecting anyway, Minecraft won't give me an error message, just try connecting forever.
My system info is as follows:
Processor: 2.7GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M 512MB
Software: OS X 10.8.4
Try disabling your anti-virus software, it might block the connection.
That might work, if I wasn't on a Mac... or I changed any internet settings at all, but I haven't. All the servers just stopped working, so it must be something with the Minecraft client itself... I hadn't played in a month, and when I logged back on I got the Realms update, which is the only thing that really changed.
Try making a little garden on your roof, with a ladder going up to the top. You could have multiple platforms, make a little wheat, have a spare tree in case you're trapped inside, etc. It would be a nice place to decorate with blocks like mossy stone and extra glowstone. Water features can be made too if your roof is big enough.
Alright, so I hadn't played Minecraft for about a month, and decided to play with some friends. When I tried joining any server, Bukkit, Hamachi, Vanilla, big or small alike, none of them work. I can't connect to any of them, and my internet is working just fine. Every server, from Ghostcraft to my little brother's is suddenly not connecting. I even tried adding new servers to the list, deleting all the servers, but nothing works, not a single server. Can someone please help?
It should also be noted that I am running the latest version of Mac, have updated everything from Flash to Java, and have waited several days and restarted my computer many times.
Another element of interest is that I have Minecraft Realms on my account; is it messing with my server connection? Is it just a rare hiccup in the latest version?
Whatever it is, it's summer and I really would like to play with my friends, so any help would be awesome.
