    Your blinded by your ignorance..!

Only because I am a fan of your name, will I hold back my rage against gravel.

As far as irritating blocks go, at least for me:

    :sand: > :gravel:

    Gravel... Away! :gravel:

posted a message on A fantastic animation which describes Mojang
This idea definitely is true for companies such as Pixar Animation and Valve Software, where creative ideas and a fun working environment is encouraged. If you want to be inspired to go out and do something amazing, watch the documentary 'The Pixar Story'. It is this approach to their work that has made them the success they are today. I think Minceraft is a great example of something like this happening right now; but like you mentioned, the community, not just Mojang, is having a great influence on the innovation happening. Personally, I think good mod support is the next big step that should happen for Minecraft.

Gravel is absolutely terrible. I cannot believe anyone would become so attached to it.

But it also makes them a bit classier no?

I guess you could make that argument. It's a matter of opinion.

I don't resent any of the updates. They've all improved the game to some degree.

The fancy option gives you in-game tips and teaches you proper etiquette while minecrafting, and how to treat a lady. It also makes all the mobs a tad bit snobbier.

    Useless.

All suggestions run the risk of being useless since Minecraft itself doesn't serve any real practical 'use'. It's not about its usefulness, its about how many laughs you get out of it.

This has to be the one of the worst forums I have ever come across...so many horrible topics and posters..

This topic is ripe for trolling. Demanding what Notch should or shouldn't do is pretty ridiculous.

Play blindfolded. This increases the difficulty of the game immensely. If you feel like that isn't enough, turn off the volume as well and just press your face to the screen.

Notch exists. He lives in Sweden. Secondly you're defending an actual phenomena, there is nothing gullible about it, people actually think it.

There is nothing gullible about the religion, it's just silly. You on the other hand are pretty gullible.

Notch isn't god. Plain and simple, he's a Swedish man who, from the looks of things, enjoys cake. It's a ridiculous religion, I think its just a matter of time before its gone, after all you don't see many people who believe in mythology or Zoroastrianism anymore now do you? It's funny at first but when used as a "Valid" (only in their perception) argument, it's more sad than anything. Mainly just annoying and sad,

Maybe not to you, but to many he is God. And honestly, I don't think it's appropriate in a public internet forum to get into a philosophical discussion about whether or not Notch exists.

    please don't say you're serious.

there is a cult to notch? kid, he's not some Imhotep. he made a video game. maybe he did more to get followers than Manson did, but come ON, i could make a viral videogame with some programming knowledge and i would MAKE people not worship me if they tried. doing something cool or resounding doesn't make you a god.

doing something that's a miracle or impossible makes you worship-able. for example - Imhotep. egyptian architect. designed some of the most amazing, largest, godly, technologically advanced structures ever created for his time.

    he earned a cult.

Notch. created a (kinda)fun sandbox game in java that most people could, and do, mod and possibly duplicate to their own discretion.

...mmm...now, if that game can resurrect the dead, then he's earned a cult.

I'm not going to say that I'm serious, but I will say that you guys are seriously gullible.

posted a message on Redstone and Real life. Someone answer this...
This is remarkably true. In fact, unbeknownst to most western historians, the ancient Chinese used a reddish/orange powder to create very rudimentary circuits to power machinery. Along with longing after silk, this is the main reason the Mongols tried to invade so many times, as it was also a remarkable sexual stimulant when ingested. After the fall of the Yuan Dynasty, the secret recipe was lost, but many believe that it is hidden somewhere in the ruins of Xanadu.
