There is a method which needs to be called in order to calculate the natural lighting. In the "Chunk" class, the "generateSkylightMap" method needs to be called after the chunk has been assembled, which calculates the natural light values and determines what blocks are in sunlight and which ones aren't. From a quick glance through the Biosphere mod code with a decompiler, it doesn't look like Rigusami calls this method. At least it is something to look at.
In the obfuscated code for 1.2.4, it would be the class acf (the "Chunk" class) and method b(); to be called.
Aha! Thanks. I had completely overlooked that that method had been renamed. Been fixed, can redownload.
Yeah but it's a fix on your end until he fixes the bug. I'm not releasing mine until it's fixed either, but helps to not see my ore skin on the jungle biome when testing my mod
That has been fixed for at least a day. You sure you are using latest version?
Once I install it, it gives me black screen and there's not even any mods installed besides that.
Manual install and MCPatcher install yield the same results.
Here is the log if anyone asks.

According to the error report, CJBModPack is the problem. So stop blaming Modloader.
Why do you think that, if risugami doesnt try to solve errors of people here, that he will do what you suggest? he doesnt even read these posts. So posting this stuff here has no use.
I actually do, but most stuff is either already answered or already exists.
:sad.gif: i am quite dissapointed...i have had the problem of not being able to get my resources back when I break blocks.
I am very experienced with third party porgrams and mods themselves for sometime now. I just recently updated my game and installed your modloader but I have received the common problemmany others are having too. i am sad because i cant use any mods :sad.gif:
Glad I wasn't the first person to say it. Sure there's a Q&A, and sure if the problem is covered in there, ignore it, but when everyone who can get past the blackscreening and crashing is failing to get resources, and in my case, unable to place modded items like the airship, and it's NOT in the Q&A it should be looked into..
I didn't expect you to not have a block id changer for the shelf being so proficient in modding. I'm not trying to be sarcastic, but it's interfering /being interfered by/ with another mod that also doesn't have a props file.
So I'm pretty sure you have been reading all of these comments on this thread. Will you do anything to "fix" ModLoader please, because it seems a lot of people are having problems with it even after installing it CORRECTLY. And after reading your first post MULTIPLE TIMES. And you still havent said anything or done anything about it yet. If you are updating Modloader right now I apologize but please AT LEAST look into it. And dont just forget about all the people who have been commenting on this thread because of the issue. I know you might be thinking "Well other people seem to be having no problem with it so it must be the people who are having this issues' fault." It might very well be our faults and we be overlooking something or whatever else. But please look into it.
It works fine. I'd assume these people forgot to remove old mods from mods folder, or using unsupported archiving programs.
Furthermore sand and gravel are only below the lakes, there are no shores. And some non spherical lakes would be nice. Also lake surface are one below ground so mobs can't get out.
I originally had sand and gravel go up to surface, but then it was impossible for sugar cane to grow naturally. And the level of the lake is determined by the surrounding land, only rarely is there not an edge that is aligned with grass.
This Biosphere stuff would be far better as another dimension, like the Nether.
New dimensions are currently buggy, but I can easily make this a new one.
And regarding the ModLoader mods with chunk population, this is currently hardcoded to go with the main generator. In next version I'll change it so an override in generator determines which population method to use.

Blame jeb for breaking it.

Would anybody mind explaining why all these people are still using 1.7.2 ModLoader?

They still won't read it.

Have you looked in .minecraft/config/?

It has never worked on multiplayer. Sure old versions seemed to work, but it was a desync. So, I now prevent that.
