Hi Sloofus. Yeah, that's exactly how I envisioned the minecraft music system to turn out. I believe this game is all about creativity and ingenuity, so why not add a musical system as well? Btw, welcome to the forums!

Introduction
The Falonsferg RP server is a unique public/private server hybrid, in which players can log in immediately and look around, but can not build or destroy until they have been accepted into our state of the art user database. Here are Falonsferg we believe in letting players create their own cities and government by providing the basic framework.
Government
Every Friday we elect a new king or queen to rule their respective kingdoms. They will be given the name prefix king or queen along with admin powers like teleporting, kicking and banning. They are free to govern their kingdom however they wish for the week of their rule. This is a lot of power to put into one individual, which is why the Friday elections are a big deal!
Rules
While we believe in freedom and creativity in this server, we also believe in equality for all. We have created a basic set of rules to protect the rights of everyone.
1. Respect other peoples creations
2. Respect other members
3. Do not steal from other members
4. Listen to your ruler and the server administration
5. You can hack, but we'll ban you briefly afterwards

I will be letting people into the server now, and once we build a big enough settlement, we shall elect a ruler. This is going to be a lot of fun, and i'm looking forward to seeing everyone here!

Applying for the server
While players have the ability to log in immediately, it is advised to sign up on the forums first. That way you don't have to awkwardly wait for me to log in to the server.
Just give me a few telling me about yourself and why I should register you. Oh, and don't forget to give me your username. I can't register you without it.
Oh yes, It would be awesome to have the job of a cartographer. Maybe you can be able to place maps on walls like paintings and right click them to look? And when maps are placed adjacently to other maps on the wall, you can make a bigger picture!
The only downside of this idea is that most maps are going to end up looking like this-
Synapse, how do you feel about my magical music suggestion? Do you think giving music an actual benefit ingame would make a musical system more worth it?
