posted a message on Looking For a Host with A Reasonable Price
    Hey,
Knightswarm is a quick, easy, and affordable server hoster.
They have fast tech support through support tickets, which are answered very quickly. They have an ad and popup free site. You pay for credits, that you can add to your servers. These determine the price of your server, and, for Minecraft servers, give you slots, RAM, and extra storage space. There is a mod manager, from which you can select versions of vanilla, bukkit, tekkit, FTB, snapshots, etc., or upload your own .jar file if what you are looking for is not in the list. The server hosting locations are Amsterdam, Atlanta, Chicago, and Las Vegas. There is an easy file manager, plugin manager, world manager, console access, and a server log. There is easy access to ftp, as well as access to a free MySQL database. Server setup is automatic, and there is little to no wait time! Check Knightswarm out today!

    Sincerely,
    Rablusep
    (Knightswarm affiliate and customer)

(Also if you purchase from them, they won't help you with plugins through support tickets, but feel free to add me on Skype to ask for plugin help

It's a problem with Minecraft, not you, nor the servers. I have the problem too, and it is annoying. :(

posted a message on Did the Terrain Become BORING? (UPDATE 6/5/13 - 1.7 is a biome update?)

    The terrain the terrain...
Why do people even care about this?
I understand that people like to build but the worlds are infinite! You can find another building spot.Or do the superflat works custimization.
Why can't people just play the game?

The worlds are infinite, but there aren't infinite possibilities for the terrain. There are more biomes nowadays, but less overall variation. And superflat customization? That would just let you generate different layers, while having flatness and no caves. That's not (at least in my opinion) not fun. (although it is fun to do survival challenges in superflat, but as an overall survival world, no.)

I'd like to play on your server; I'm tired of the new updates as of now.

I've whitelisted you. The IP is 198.46.159.14. :D

    Quote from CreeperBossHisss

I know but it's rude to swear I just hate it!

    But it doesn't say swearing

There isn't swearing in singleplayer, only multiplayer, which is not rated, as I just said.

I agree with most of what you said. That's why I only play beta 1.7.3 nowadays. (I even have a server for it.) I hope it's true that a terrain update is coming in 1.7, and it actually fixes the problems.

If you're talking about the xbox version, then reread the rating:

posted a message on looking for a 1.7.3 beta server
I have one. What is your username? (It's whitelisted and has xAuth because mojang changed something in an update since then that broke username authentication.) It's relatively new and has a friendly staff. I'll whitelist DerpLordAlcro in case that's your username.
IP for once you're whitelisted: Nostalgia.playmc.at (Although that might change in the future, so I'd recommend using 198.46.159.14). Hope to see you on! (I'll actually be making a forum thread soon in the servers section about it. And ignore the creative world for now (Designed to simulate creative mode from beta 1.8+), you can go into it if you really want, but it's mostly unfinished.)

posted a message on Do you miss the old minecraft?
Not just you, I miss it too. I even have a working Minecraft beta 1.7.3 server, and am going to work on setting up a Minecraft classic server soon. I play old versions almost ALL the time. Depending on what I feel like playing, I play either Minecraft classic 0.0.13a, classic 0.30, indev, alpha 1.1, alpha 1.2, beta 1.7.3, or Minecraft full 1.6.2.

    Quote from UnknowGuy200

EDIT: For InfoTeddy <3: Pageclaim! xD

    I play old versions too, Classic 0.0.13a_03, Classic 0.30, 0.31, Indev, Infdev, Alpha 1.1.2, Alpha 1.2.6, Beta 1.5, Beta 1.7, Minecraft 1.2.5, Minecraft 1.4.5, Minecraft 1.5 and Minecraft 1.6

I love those versions. Even Alpha 1.1.2, it is just very buggy on multiplayer but is still fun.

I have either a 0.0.12 or 0.0.13 jar of classic I play about once every two months. It's fun just running around spawning as many steves as possible. xD Anyways, I've told a friend of mine about this petition, and am going to tell a few more friends when they are online. (And great, now I feel like making a Minecraft classic server. (More servers to pay for because my computer and internet isn't good enough to.) If you'd like to know if I do make one/ know about my 1.7.3 server, PM me.)

posted a message on SIGN THIS PETITION TO SAVE MINECRAFT CLASSIC
I play many old versions of Minecraft: I frequently play classic, Alpha 1.1, Alpha 1.2.6 (they seem different to me, probably because of the grass and slightly different terrain.), Beta 1.7.3, and Full 1.6. I'm tempted to start playing 1.8, just because a few things that were different there, and not in 1.7.3/1.0. I have a server for 1.7.3 (I'll actually be posting it on these forums soon but right now it's private for me and my friends.) I honestly do enjoy classic and other old versions and it'd make me sad if one or more of them weren't playable. I signed the petition.

posted a message on [WIP] 8x8 simplesmooth texture pack (recommend use of shaders)
Woot! \o/ I downloaded it and it looks amazing with the shader mod (yes, I stopped being lazy and actually downloaded it), the only problem is the shader mod SEVERELY lags me. I might play with it on the simplest settings. Either way though, I'm still going to use the texture pack.
