I am also hoping for a 1.5.2 update since it's the kind of mod I don't want to miss.

@magoo: don't start breaking out the threats. it's not cool. people asking for updates without demanding them (most of them including me are just asking and NOT demanding) are a way of showing a mod author just how cool their mod is after all.
Well Davey already said what he had to say about a future update. If people start asking after he that, than it can be considered spam and spam is what makes modders not want to update a mod.
This is what someone asking for update thinks: I really hope this message gets him to update faster, because this is really good mod and I want to see it in the future.
At the heart of it, it has kind thoughts and feelings behind it.
But this is what the modder sees: These people are going to constantly pester me about an update. Do they not care that I have a life and other things to do? Why should I even bother, if they're not even going to be respectful of that, every time there is a Minecraft update?

I saw you on the Coloured Beds mod forum and you said that you were updated, so I thought I would pop by and saw how things are going.
When you fix the dagger duping bug would you consider adding another way to craft sharpened sticks as well?
Say 3 sticks around a piece of flint makes 3 sharp sticks?
Another request, for your special mobs mod, would you consider adding a config option to alter the weapons/armor they can have?
Weapons especially so I can add in new types of bows for skelys and remove the default one.
As far as having the flint and sticks thing, I kinda like the knife sharpens one stick thing. Makes me feel like I'm crafting a weapon on the fly. And I'm not sure how stacking a weapon with durability would work. It gets all weird.
I do, however, like the idea for adding modded weapons. A good way to do this, is by adding a config and making it so when you add the IDs, the mobs can spawn with that weapon. Along with adding the ID you have to add a 0.00 - 1.00 chance of them spawning with it.
Wait, I get black screen after put your mod zip to the mods folder, any advice ?
Are you sure you performed the following:
-Deleted Meta-Inf
-Grabbed the latest version of forge and the mod
-Deleted Meta-Inf after installing forge
-Installed the corresponding versions to the corresponding Minecraft version
Why does everyone use NEI? because its so easy to cheat in items without being in creative mode? CraftGuide has a much better UI for recipe discovery imo...
Although a more simple solution would be to make golems craftable (possibly on a custom, larger table), and to have the resulting crafted golem be placable with dispensers. The golems could simply be crafted en masse, stored in a chest, and when need be, pumped out with hoppers and deployed with a dispenser, or any other such contraption.
That might actually work, but I believe Fathertoast would prefer using the vanilla crafting table due to his preference to not making blocks. But that could in fact work. You genius!

haha no wonder it seemed perfect for the job. Hey btw i have an Idea for a mini mod or addition to Utility mobs mod. "Soft Pistons" <insert better name here> but yeah Soft pistons would be able to move for example melons and pumpkins. made on crafting table same way as a sticky piston only with wool. opens up the possibility of golem factories and still being able 2 make pumpkin/melon farms with standard
pistons. depending on how all that's coded maybe even a few other things pistons break in vanilla could also be moved with Soft pistons
other way i was thinkin maybe it could be done instead if a piston pushes up from underneath it breaks it (so you can still have auto farms) but if it pushes on the sides or top it moves it for golem factories. think the first idea would be better if it could be done. but i've no idea how hard that would be just throwing ideas around im not a modder:P

You see, Minecraft has rigged so when a Player places the Pumpkin, it generates the golem. However! It only works with players. So in order to get that to work, it would require rewriting the way golems work, completely. And there is a chance that it will only work on the golems, that it is modified for.

Well you already can get two by crafting a regular one and then ripping it in half, in your crafting inventory.
