I was with The Smelter for a couple months and then when I went to pay my invoice for the next month I found out I couldn't access the payment site. Worse yet, the entire client area was down, leaving completely unable to contact anyone who could help me with this problem.
Their service for the server and constant up time were great, but that was a hard blow to process when I was getting constant requests that the server be put back up from all the people that played on it.

Found a seed that starts around... well... OF SHEEP!
I made a brief video so you have some idea of what I'm talking about.
The seed is: permabanned

The idea of how to play it I've been running with is pretty simple:
1. Gather sheep in relatively safe penned in area.
2. Breed at least one sheep a day.
3. Wool Temple to the Sheep God. (use at least one of each color wool)
(Challenge Mode: Touch the roof of the world.)
For wood and wheat, you will need to head to the village I show in the video.
There are a few caves, so finding iron for shears won't be terribly hard.
And of course while your digging and shearing away, surround your sheep with cool stuff in the meantime.
You don't want them getting all depressed when you leave them alone to dig, do you?
Hey, right now we're working on the Super Hostile series. We will probably wind up playing some puzzle maps here and there, dependent upon who we're playing with. As for single player, which will come later, I'll be looking more at things like Adventurecraft as well as some of the more challenging modified maps.

How to connect to a network.
1. Go to the 'Network' tab.
2. Select: Join an existing network.
3. Type:

Password: minecraft
(Make sure you have no caps. This is cap sensitive.)
After you have joined the network, you are ready to join the server. IP: 5.242.1.44:25565

Once we've been up for a bit, and plugins have a bit to catch up, I will be upgrading to a bukkit server.
The reason I am on Hamachi is it allows me to support more players more easily on this computer as well deal with repeat griefers more effectively. We will always update to the newest official version when it comes out.
