Anything you would like to tell us about yourself: I am 17 years old. I have a hard time opening up to others but if you just try to get to know me then I promise I won't bite! As of late I have gotten really bored with single-player Minecraft and really just want to have a solid multiplayer experience with a bunch of good people! I love drawing and writing and reading books. I absolutely LOVE anime/manga (Bleach being my favorite) and I am a total nerd. I love Pokemon, Doctor Who, reading creepypastas, and a bunch of other stuff as well!
And, if everything goes according to plan, I shall take over the world and rule with my evil army of AquaSheep! ...Okay... Not really but one can hope...
Just tested it, Biospheres works fine for me. I only loaded it and Modloader, so how it reacts with other mods I don't know. Also, be sure you are copying the Biospheres zip file to the mods folder under your versions folder, not the main mods folder under .minecraft. You should have it here: \AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\versions\1.6.2\mods. Magic Launcher appears to not know about this folder and only looks at the main mods folder. Modloader appears to use this folder now so you can have several versions of the same mod installed for each version of the game you have installed. Once you get it working, you should see some thing like generator.biospheres in the world type button (where default, large biomes & superflat normally are).
...and yes, it does work with Forge. But, just to be confusing, Forge uses the main mods folder, NOT the one Modloader creates under the version folder, so go figure. It also works with all the other mods I have installed with Forge including Optifine.
I've seen a few posts in this thread asking for help with the same problem I've been having. But each one either didn't have a working solution or it was just ignored all together. I should say that I only went through about 100 pages but I really do not have the time (or patience) to sift through over 1500 pages of thread posts. So if indeed there is a post somewhere here that solves this problem then sorry, I didn't see it. Although I highly doubt there is one. But I will try to post this anyway in hopes that I actually get a solution. (Hope I'm not coming across as rude but I just woke up and I'm a little frustrated. I searched for a solution for about an hour and couldn't find one.)
I have Magic Launcher and I tried to use the Biosphere mod. I loaded the mod and both it and ModLoader said "OK". So I started Minecraft and tried to create a new world. But when I went into the "More World Options" the Biosphere option didn't show up. Just as a test, I ran a new world without changing anything and it was normal terrain.
After reading those 100 pages I mentioned earlier, I made sure I didn't have Forge at all when I tried this and I had ModLoader first in the list with Optifine last. I also removed all of my mods and then reloaded them again. No result. I also tested it with all of my mods turned off except for, obviously, Biosphere and ModLoader. Everything said it was okay but Biosphere wouldn't work. What can I do to fix this problem? (Again, sorry if you think I'm being rude but I would very much like to fix this problem.)
