Don't give me that crap. They put a message on the top of the screen in big, white letters that says, "You will be moved to the other team." In addition to that, you respawn in the other team's base with the other team's players. If you really can't tell that you're on the other team, you obviously aren't paying any attention while playing.
(This isn't exactly them making a statement ABOUT the game, but I think it qualifies.)
Well, as opposed to the rest of the posts made in this thread, I have to say that I completely agree with everything you've said, Equinox. Every single time that Mojang posts a snapshot, I look at the features and pretty much just think, "Well, no need to worry about updating for that any time soon". I've really begun to get sick of seeing practically every new thing added to the game either be a decorative block or something that makes the game even easier. Even with the 1.5 Redstone update, I found it stupid how they added a whole entire new ore to the game just to be used in two crafting recipes, something that they seem to do all the time. The stability thing is also something that gets on my nerves as well. I find it funny how they release a snapshot every week, with the intend of getting bug reports, release the update and still have to through not only one, but MANY bug fix patches.
Oh, and, to all of the those of you who claim that Equinox is angry due to nostalgia about the Alpha versions of MC, there's a difference between someone who liked the Alpha version because they were simple (which I have a feeling is what some of you think this thread is based off) and someone who enjoyed them because it was far more challenging, had more interesting updates and was overall a much better experience in general. I didn't start playing MineCraft until Beta 1.3_01, far after the Alpha versions, and yet I want the game to be steered in the same direction as the person who made this thread has made quite clear. But not only that, I even enjoyed some of the later updates after the game was fully released, up to 1.2.5 anyway. Are you going to claim that I'm envious of the "old days" of the game, too?
I don't watch him, (nor do I like him), but I'm willing to guess that, much like a lot of popular YouTube commentators, he's gained much of his popularity simply because he acts stupid and crazy in his videos. I really get tired of seeing all these YouTubers who've built large fanbases off of people who are just easily entertained by someone who acts like an idiot.
(Oh, and just so I don't have people who aren't annoying fanboys/fangirls hating on me for this, I'm not saying that EVERYONE in his fanbase, or any other, is like this. [My best friend likes to watch his videos, and I wouldn't put her under this category.] I've just seen a vast majority of people who are.)
I have seen it, but do not like it very much at all, and don't find it a very worthy replacement.
Fair enough. I've seen quite a lot of people dislike any remakes of television series' because they don't have the feel of the original (me not being one).
My favorite show has to be Teen Titans. I know it has been discontinued, but I felt I had to mention it because it shaped most of my childhood, and who I am today.
Have you seen the new Teen Titans: Go! series? It might not be as good, but it's still pretty decent I would say. Plus it's one of the very few things that has been made by Cartoon Network in recent years that isn't completely terrible.
I had completely forgotten about this mod when the original author stopped updating his version. Glad to see it finally get revived! I hope you're able to get it working just like the original.
Introduction
Welcome to my thread. This is where I will be posting screenshots of many miscellaneous things that I've
built in vanilla MineCraft. Each new post will contain a short description of what I've built, followed by a
sequential series of pictures on how I made it.

Realistic Tree
This is my first attempt at designing a large, realistic-style tree. One of the things I like the most about MC is the world terrain, so naturally I'd want to make something that would stand out in the world and look quite interesting.
(1) I began by using a 2x2 shaft of wooden logs to shape a set of roots for a base and branching off at the top in order to create a bare tree trunk. (2) Next I laid down the leaves. (3) Then I used Jungle and Birch leaves to add vines and moss for appearance. (Yes, I know there's an actual vine block.) (4) Finally, to add interest, I made two new changes to the tree: a spider cave and an experimental beehive.
InfiCraft is an outdated mod that added thousands of different types of tools into the game. What he was referring to was a mod known as World Tweaks that was created by the same author which changed many miscellaneous features in the world, one of which added the ability for snow to stack like your mod.

(I'm willing to bet that NOBODY knows who these characters are or what series they're from.)

In other words, just nevermind.
