A little bit about yourself I am a passionate builder with special love for aesthetically pleasing looking builds. I love to help the community be it through answering questions, or building public farms/utility builds. Among my other minecraft passions I love to cooperate with many people in order to share ideas and create wonderful structures by which we can be proud. In the real life one of my main passions is drawing, I can easily sit down for many hours as long as I have paper and a pencil. Another one of my many loves are animals, I am one of the main helpers in the local animal shelter, and a proud owner of 2 French Poodle puppies.

hello everyone, I m currently playing skyblock survival, and I was wondering if anyone knew a good hostile mob trap settup that doesn't require pistons, lava, or a mob spawner.

Nice, yet I don't know for what would it be useful. All I can think of beside adventure maps is sand spleef with different chunks of sand separated by snow, like normal spleef but with many blocks falling just by breaking 1 block

Currently I am using the mods IC2, RedPower 2, and Buildcraft. In my opinion with these mods having far more coal than required in vanilla is necessary at the start. However, as you progress through the game you can find better renewable power producers such as solar panels is RP2 and IC2, and oil in buildcraft. i think it all depends on the mod, some of them require tons of coal, while others have alternative fuels. To answer your question, yes I usually mine coal when I see it, but it is nowhere are precious as iron to me.
