If you want, I can sort them out for the snapshot. You know, just put the textures into the folders, no editing or anything.
I don't think that will be necessary. The way I make the textures actually accommodates for that easily. Once the redstone update is out I'll change it. Thanks though!
This is my first texture pack, and after a lot of work, it's finally done! I wanted to go with a simplistic and vibrant style using squares prominently with bright colors. I'm always open to criticism and ideas for future textures. The pack is not complete yet, but most of the terrain.png has been textured. Please let me know what you think!
Very vibrant, but I'd personally tone down the sand. I'd also like to see how swamps currently look, if you wouldn't mind.
"Killing me" Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Also I think Swamps are really ugly to begin with and look worse with my pack, but it does give me a chance to show off trees.
I think I prefer the other sand texture, although it could've done with being a tad darker...
Also, the bookshelves' books don't look like they're actually in the bookshelf properly to me - I think they should be a litte darker, as to recess then a tad. Also, I think the green-book on the right stands out a little too much.
By the way, does this pack use a palette? It looks like it might be palette'd, but I cannot quite-tell. If you've not got a palette for the pack, I think it's the sort of pack whereas having a palette handy could really help.
Thank you for the feedback!
I was not happy at all with the old sand texture since it had a swirly look and the rest of the pack has a blocky look. The darker bits on the sand do stand out a bit too much though, so I can work on that.
I took your advice on the bookshelves, made them darker, and used a less 'Yellow' Green.
I used a palette at the start, but found that it restricted me in some of the later textures, so I started making new colors to accommodate. Most of the basic textures like Wood, Dirt, and Grass do share many colors with other textures. I still am making an effort to reuse colors in different ways, but sometimes I have to make new ones.
So I've been creating a Texturepack (http://www.minecraft...-need-feedback/) of my own for a while and I've been working on color choices. I've drawn up a palette of the colors I'm going to use mainly and would like some feedback on it.
Each color is associated with a type of block (i.e. Diamond, Redstone, Wood, Sand)

I just added the code for the texture pack banner. If you want this pack to get more publicity why don't you wear it!

Unfortunately, no. I want to get the pack finished for all of the basic stuff before I begin with snapshots.

(Please note that vines have yet to be textured)
