posted a message on Do cats take less fall damage? Or even any at all?
    Quote from MVanKleeckx23

My little Oscar has taken his fair share of falls and he doesn't even seem fazed by it.

Do cats take less fall damage or any at all? This would seem logical as cats have perfect balance when it comes to falling irl

Cats hurt themselves by falling in real life all the time. They can land awkwardly or take a fall which is simply too high for them... It's a myth that they have "perfect balance" and always land on their feet.

When fathers are killed in their beds by their sons wielding sledgehammers,

When infants are allowed to dehydrate to death by their parents neglecting them,

When a man can die due to dehydration,

When a man gets stabbed in the chest and dies,

    All due to gaming.

I tell you, games obsession can be a clinical condition.

There is a reason why Asia puts health warnings on video games.

There is nothing wrong posting this in the minecraft forums, perhaps the OP wants to play with users who like minecraft too?

And yeah, other games is the best section...

Although remember, when you tell a user he has posted in the wrong section, be kind and courteous about it... you are helping him get a better response to his thread, so you are essentially doing him a favour.

On topic: OP, does the server need a port? The default port for terraria is 31337, right?

    @Pat Thanks

No problem lead, I had problems in school too... I look back at it now and its kinda funny...

No idea why I let those people practically ruin my life back then... They were pathetic... If I could go back adn speak to myself, id have to slap myself for letting them take control of me like that...

People have tried to take control of me since, its rarer, but people still try when you're out of mandatory education... But by I just stuck up for myself and told em to go screw themselves.

It's as if people can sense fear and if your scared, they'll never stop harassing you.

Also, do not feed the trolls, they're fat enough already. :wink.gif:

To the guy with the keyboard figures...

The average adult user of computers is much closer to 35 wpm.

The average touch typist is closer to 70wpm.

and sought after professional typists can be anything over 110 wpm.

    Confidence will grow in time.

I was like you at your age, now if anyone gives me any crap, no matter what their age, I can tell them to **** off (Not always that particular wording).

Trust me, your confidence and self believe will grow naturally over time.

They use different types of 'fries' to make fish and chips. You really have to try it.

I do live in Britain actually.

Yeah, in Bitain, the 'Chips' are much juicier and plumper... They are also healthy because they have less surface area compared to their mass, meaning that they have less fat on them from the cooking process.

    We also eat fries...

chips are not simple the British word for fries, but are a completely different product.

Similar to american steak fries, or whatever they're called.

just thought of some more advice.

Turn your debate into a song, and learn some dance steps.

If you make a song and a dance out of it, you can only succeed.

I like it, I started watching it when I was a kid actually, even though it wasn't really aimed at my age group...

It's one of the earliest animated shows I can think of that was actually targeted at adults and got the attention of a younger age group without meaning to, unlike other animated shows which either were the exact opposite, or were targeted at both children and adults.

to be honest, I've been in full time education for my whole life, that ends in 4 days...

    So I'm actually pretty scared...

The only experience I've had in a workplace is my "work experience" from school when I was like 14/15?

I didn't put myself forward for anything so I was stuck in a supermarket working with a girl from school who I would have never spoke to otherwise... we ran in totally different social circles.

But yeah, It was weird talking to someone who I'd normally avoid like the plague, she was fun to hide with away from the staff (not for what you think, we wanted to avoid working!) and also pushed each other around in the shopping carts in the warehouse section...

Or threw bars of soap at each other... which is actually painful.

If real work is anything like that, it will be a blast... Something tells me... it may not be.

Real work can be fun! I'm actually at work now while browsing the MCForums. How old are you though? If you don't mind answering.

I'm 21, Finishing a course in marketing and advertising management... There's a risk I may end up in a boring job, but to be honest... I'm rather fine with that...

The reason I've decided to stay in education without any employment for so long is because... once you start working, you kinda get stuck in it, and I wanna value the time I've got and the freedom I've got with it, the abiltiy to travel and stuff (On a low budget, which makes it even more fun).

hopefully I can eventually find a job I can enjoy, being a marketing and community manager dealing with PR for an independent/small games developer would be awesome... The only problem with that industry is they usually don't have the finances required to hire someone with a specialised skill set, most employees are "jacks of all trades".

A humorous episode... I couldn't see any of your diamond tools in that lake, I guess the creeper explosion destroyed them...

I guess, since Tnt can destroy items, so can creeper explosions.

I would like to see you destroy an entire small orb, maybe put it in fast forward...

Start with nothing but a pickaxe/shovel too, so you can see exactly how much rock/materials one of those small resource orbs has in it...

It can't take longer than 15 minutes to completely dig one of those, can it?

Oh, when you quote me, you don't think my name deserves to be in the quotes? Wait, one second, did you just trespass into my post to steal those words?

    Rargh!

I'll sort you out! -Bang Bang Bang-

Oh no, what have I done! Only his hat is left...

I am a terrible person, I'm going to have severe emotional problems for the rest of my life, go to jail for a huge period of my adult life, become institutionalised and probably re-offend once I get out of jail, or even inside jail which will increase my severe emotional problems and lead me further down a dark and miserable path.

At least I had a gun to protect me from any bad that may have happen... oh wait... all that sounds pretty... bad.

Don't worry. I was only ever a hat. That thief just had me on his head

    I was the mastermind

I see, Then I feel much more emotionally sound after knowing I didn't destroy the guilty person, but instead killed a person who was merely having his mind controlled and probably left behind an innocent family...

    Makes me feel much better.

You dastardly hat! I'll get you yet!

Generally I will agree with your view on people. But there is no telling what people will do when they think they are going to die. I mean people will break their arms off to survive, you think they won't shoot someone?

That's one way to look at it. The other is that those about to die would be too scared to do anything but crawl away into a corner and hope the bad guy will go away. I think that would be most people, but it depends on how you look at it, I suppose. :/

No further discussion can really be had from the argument now, you should agree to disagree.

    I know.
