Let me start off by saying Im not one to post much on forums but i made a quick one tonight becuse as a pretty major star wars fan I have to say parzi, you and your team have made quite an amazing star wars experience and im damn impressed. I have alwase loved the idea of not being set into a linear story but just be in the universe not being anyone special, just a relaxing star wars experience with open ended options of branching off if i so desire and the only game i have been able to achieve that was in Star Wars Galaxies up until now. Anywho i just wanted to thank you and your team for providing great star wars content and look forward to your future work.
P.S nice work sticking to the lore, little things make a big impact in the long run so nice job!

To be completely honest, we don't want to talk about it, like at all. We think we shared too much for 1.3 and we don't want to do it again. Basically we may share some stuff, we might not, but it'll most likely be mostly without context. And we won't be talking about when it'll be released because it just puts too much unneeded stress on us and we end up releasing something that isn't 100% where we want it to be. 1.4 will be awesome, but that's about all we're gonna say.

Wiki Update
The Wiki has been updated with crafting recipe pictures and generally more information (don't forget there are some reference maps for Structures too). The only pages that still need updating are the Mobs page and the Force Powers page, but mobs don't matter too awful much at the moment and the Force power GUI explains powers mostly. We'll update these last 2 pages soon. Thanks for playing 1.3. Cheers.

No but there is a Wiki that we linked to about 4 times in the update post, which we have since linked to multiple times. Here's another link to the Wiki in case you missed the link about the Wiki.

Blade thickness isn't changeable but we'll maybe possibly look into the possibly possibility of a different type of rendering possibly. As for quests, we were worried about them being too time-consuming, but obviously they aren't and we'll keep that in mind for when we write new ones. New planets and locations obviously come with new releases and thus storyline tweaks. As for waypoints/maps/coordinates, in our update post we recommended downloading and using JourneyMap. It does everything you're asking for and there's no reason to write our own system when another mod that's fully compatible already does an amazing job of it. We have no problems with the skins we use currently and probably won't change them to be completely honest. As for force powers, we've researched the subject way too thoroughly and honestly there aren't as many cool ones as you'd think besides the ones we already have, so I guess we'll just have to get creative with that in the future. Thanks for the genuine feedback.

Here's the deal, there is nothing we can do to help you directly with java running out of memory problems. You guys asked for large in-game structures, and we gave that to you all. What you're experiencing are the computational costs of having multiple multi-million block structures in the mod. The system we have in place loads schematics and places them in-game, if we did it by actually saving the blocks for the structures in the code then the mod would be over 2gigs. We have done all we can to keep the mod working well despite the large structures. Weaston uses his stock 4 year old non-gaming laptop to run the mod and it runs fine. That is our benchmark machine and if you machine falls under that, then we cannot help because there is physically nothing we can do. Again, these are the computational costs of large structures, a thing that was requested constantly by you guys. We're sorry, but we've done all we can at this point, the only thing we could do to help is take out the structures, which was the whole point of 1.3. We don't mean this in a rude way whatsoever, we just wnt you all to understand that we make this with performance in mind, and it runs on our benchmark which is by no means good or fast.

Parzi's Star Wars Mod 1.3 Update
This update was a huge undertaking and we hope you all enjoy the hours and hours of hard work that went into it. Please download from our site (Link Here) and not from other people because it helps us keep our site running and keeps us developing.
**READ OUR NEW WIKI** (It is currently being updated for 1.3 and may not be fully accurate/complete yet. HOWEVER, all of the important stuff is there and it will be fully updated and accurate within the next few days.)
1.3 is drastically different from all previous versions and we HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend reading the new Wiki at the above link. if you ask a question here that is already answered on the Wiki, we will simply link you back to the relevant page. There are also a few VERY IMPORTANT tidbits about how things work now in 1.3 on **This Page**. *PLEASE READ THAT PAGE BECAUSE IT TALKS ABOUT LARGE STRUCTURE SPAWNING WAIT TIMES AMONG OTHER THINGS*.
We also will not be telling anyone the locations of hidden questline items and/or structures/NPCs/etc. until at least a month after release. But let symmetry be a good guide to where hidden things might be. Also know that most structures can be found in the East and West directions (this means major bases are usually East or West, smaller more unique structures are usually on a diagonal like Northeast or Southwest).
Many things work differently on Creative vs Survival, so again, PLEASE READ THE WIKI.
Since some of you will not take the time to read the wiki, here are some important points.
1. 1.3 is meant to be played on Peaceful, all of our hostile mobs still spawn and function as they should, and this way you don't have to deal with zombies, creepers, slimes, etc.
2. Loading dimensions will be slow for THE VERY FIRST TIME YOU LOAD THEM. This will only happen on large structure dimension such a Yavin 4 and/or Endor. You also get teleported to specific places based on your faction and this could cause load times to be longer than usual if it is your first time in the structure.
3. Your ship is the mechanism through which you switch dimensions, but once you switch dimensions you will be on the ground out of your ship, it will be nearby. You must travel ~60 blocks away and then come back in order for your ship to actually show up again. This is not something we can help, because it relies on the loading and unloading of chunks from Minecraft which we have no control over.
4. In Survival, using a ship to change dimensions, once you have used the Hyperdrive for that dimension, you never need another for that dimension. Your dimension data is stored to the Quest Log and that dimension will remain unlocked in the Hyperdrive GUI.
5. Ships no longer drop their spawn item, once you crash a ship, that's it for that ship. 5. You cannot enter any ship freely in Survival mode except for the T-16 Skyhopper, the AT-ST, and the Imperial Speeder Bikes. Ship usage is now tied to factions and you must progress through the faction in order to obtain access, at which point you must buy a "license" to actually use it. Once you have a license, that type of ship is forever usable by you with no limitations. Licenses are kept through faction changes.
6. Rarely, ships will not follow you to your dimension. We're sorry, until we create our own custom dimension switching system, there's nothing we can do (as said earlier talking about them not showing up immediately). If this happens, please just cheat one in using the Creative menu. We're sorry that's the only fix for the time being, but we do hope to change this in the future.
7. Lightsabers are not crafted in the traditional Minecraft crafting way. We have our own special system and different types of Lightsabers require different numbers of parts. Kyber Crsytals are also an ore.
8. In Survival, Lightsabers can only be obtained by progressing through the Jedi Questline.
9. The Sith Questline is only unlocked after the completion of the Jedi Questline
Questing requires a Quest Log which must be kept in your inventory at all times and must be crafted in order to change dimensions in Survival Mode. (It should stay in your inventory on death because of some trickas we pulled but let us know if it consistently doesn't and we'll take a look).
Also dimension changes (except for the Tatooine Hyperdrive and how to use it) are now accomplished with a ship in Survival mode, again, READ THE WIKI.
Here's a small list of new things:
1. Fully custom Lightsaber crafting system
2. Full Questing System with 4 separate Questlines
3. Tons of new structures (Great Temple, Hoth Echo Base, Sandcrawlers, Ilum Jedi Temple, Yoda's Hut, etc.)
4. Fully overhauled Merchant and Loot System
5. Many new ships (AT'ST's, Y-Wings, TIE Bombers and TIE Advanced, T-47's, T-16's, etc.)
6. Tons of new blocks
7. Lightsaber Throw Force Power
8. New Armors and NPC's
9. Lots of other changes, please read the wiki.
One last thing, we would like to recommend a few mods to you that will greatly improve your PSWM and Questing expeience.
1. Optifine (Great mod, helps slower computers do things a little better)
2. Journey Map (Invaluable tool which gives you a minimapof your world and lets you make and teleport to waypoints. This is absolutely needed for a good Questline experience because without it you will 100% get lost and not be able to find your way back to base. It also helps you see the area for a good amount of chunks around you, which makes the scouting missions much cleaner and easier. Again, we HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend the use of Journey Map if you will be Questing in PSWM)
Thanks for playing, please remember to download from our site (Link Here), and above all we hope you enjoy.
Cheers,
Parzi
Please do not quote this post, it is very long.
Also a huge thank you to Wolfie for putting up with us and modeling such amazing things. We <3 you boi.

Progress Update
So testing isn't going as cleanly as we were expecting (of course, because the universe hates us) so unfortunately it's going to be tomorrow for the release. We're sorry, we wouldn't have told you guys we were releasing today if we genuinely didn't believe it, but testing all the moving parts of the update at one time proved to be a much larger undertaking than we expected. Again, we're sorry, but you can 100% expect 1.3 from us tomorrow. In the end, it's better we found these problems now than having released an incomplete/problematic version to you all. Thank you for bearing with us and again we apologize, we know you all are very excited and we really don't like to disappoint, but this is really all we can do right now in good faith. We'll be seeing you all tomorrow. Cheers.

Last Progress Update
We're still testing and fixing, but it'll be released as soon as we're done. Sorry for the wait.
