hmm is there anyway to make a block face you when you place it like a furnace without it actually being a furnace?

the github wiki is missing a type list so i'm not sure what blocks i'm trying to make

is there a way to make blocks be variations of a single id via metadata? eg. 746:0, 746:1, etc.

or do they all have to be a different id?

I don't know if this has been asked before, but would you mind making terrain generator plugin versions for bukkit? If you could, would you make them compatible with Multiverse? These great terrains would be amazing in smp.
Plus, if you made a plugin version for bukkit, it would save you the trouble of porting a mod entirely for smp. Not to mention you wouldn't have to code in old functionality for tools, since there are other plugins that do this already.

    Hey, here's a suggestion~
Could you make tables and chairs be placed knocked over?
It would really help with a custom adventure map that I'm making!
Also, could you do the same with chimneys?
The pipe's look would be really cool to have.

You do realize that real cement is not made out of trapped souls right?

Guess not though, since you probably just hacked your inventory to get it. Maybe if you actually tried playing the game instead of just cheating your way through it, it would have occurred to you.

    Just a thought.

Thanks So Much For This Super Fantastic Mod :Diamond:

BUT CAN YOU CHANGE THE INGREDIENTS ON THE BD (block Dispenser)
Can you have something else than the moss block. because they are very hard to find and if i wanted to make a lot of them say 64, that is 320 moss blocks i have to find :ohmy.gif:
there is just not enough in the world to make a lot of them. and in my world so far i've only found one dungeon (and that is with the x ray texture pack). soooo yeah. :sad.gif:

PLZ TAKE THIS INTO ACCOUNT BECAUSE I WOULD LOVE TO MAKE SOME AUTOMATIC FARMS WITH THIS WONDROUS MOD :biggrin.gif:

    Mod looks awesome.

One suggestion: rather than overriding whether or not a block needs to be horizontally adjacent to a hatch, I believe it would be preferred by players if it were possible to indicate the swing-direction of a hatch similar to how the omni-slabs are placed.

If you aim towards the top of the adjacent block (or maybe when the user places it on the underside of an existing block), the hatch would be aligned to the top side of the block:
:cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :wood: :wood: :wood: :wood:
    :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone:
    :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone:
    :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone:

and swing downwards, flattens against the block:
    :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :wood:
    :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :wood:
    :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :wood:
    :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :wood:
However if placed on top of an existing block or while aiming at the lower half of a block it would rest on the bottom:
    :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone:
    :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone:
    :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone:
:cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :wood: :wood: :wood: :wood:
    and swing upwards.

Perhaps whichever block you attach it to in the first place is the direction it will swing, and whichever side of that block you place it on is the direction it will start?

I.e. if you are pointing at the left side (along the left edge while facing a block straight-on), the hatch would be placed vertically, aligned with the outer edge of the block. When the hatch closes (or opens, depending on how you look at it), it would swing towards the block.

Facing the block, hatch is pointing out towards the player:
    :wood: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone:
    :wood: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone:
    :wood: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone:
    :wood: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone:

When the hatch changes state, flattens towards the block:
    :wood: :wood: :wood: :wood:
    :wood: :wood: :wood: :wood:
    :wood: :wood: :wood: :wood:
    :wood: :wood: :wood: :wood:

I suppose it would be nice, however, if you could get a hatch to swing from a vertical to a horizontal state while sticking out from its only adjacent block.

I guess the main thing I'd like is more alignment options a la omni-slabs.

A reverse hatch would be nice too.

    SUGGESTION

Make panels, moulding and corners stackable on eachother.
Not as in your inventory, but the actual blocks. (that way we can make reverse stairs or similar structures on ceilings or under

It sounds pretty hard to do from my perspective, but I'm sure you could manage it.

i just spent five hours making a elevator and when i turned it on it desended in sections so im very pissed at the moment

This is a glitch that happens when sections of the elevator are on different chunks.

If it goes down in four pieces, then you seem to have built yours in the intersection between 4 chunks. Just build it 4-5 blocks away in any diagonal direction to ensure this doesn't happen again.
Likewise, if it goes down in two pieces, move 4-5 blocks in any cardinal direction.

when punching a wooden door with its hinges on the right side, the particle it produces are purple. Other then that its a great mod :smile.gif:

hope wool can be made into panel soon, that would be awesome :smile.gif:

This is actually a vanilla glitch. Just thought you might want to know.
